I try washing my car every Friday or once every two weeks and I don’t like to see my car dirty. I think it’s easy to clean during the summer, because it’s kind of challenging in the winter. So, how often do you wash your car?

It depends on how picky I'm being and the weather. When there is a lot of pollen then you would have to wash every day to keep it looking clean. In the winter you have to find a nice day that you have time to do it early enough so it can dry off before the temperature drops.

My wife had her car about two weeks and I have washed it twice so far. I washed my cat at the same time since everything is out and ready. They are calling for a lot of rain this week so I will be washing it again when we get a decent day.

If I can find they time I might be washing hers twice a week. Her brakes dust really bad so the rims get dirty quick. Can't water to replace them.

It depends, I usually wash it when I already see that it's dirty and muddy already. Sometimes I let the rain wash away the dirt first, so that it's easier to wash afterwards.

I think it's equally important to be concerned about HOW you wash your car. Scrubbing and buffing will eventually start to wear down the finish. I'll clean the car once a week with any kind of scrubbing action, but for the rest of the week I just do a good spraying with soap, water, and a liquid wax. I see people scrubbing and wiping their cars down almost daily. This will lead to swirl patterns in no time. A few grains of sand in the cloth is all it takes, over time.

At least twice a week because its so easy for a vehicle to get dirty. May be an exterior wash twice a week but interior once a week.

The place where you live also dictates how often you wash your car. If it's a rough and tumble car then once a week is OK. Other cars
need to be washed at least once everyday but for the person who cares about how clean their rides should be the car has to be washed every day.

Mine. . .it's the rough and tumble. As long as the inside it's clean anytime is a good time to hit the road.

I don't wash my car a lot at all. I feel so guilty because everybody here is talking about washing their car every day, or once a week. I wash my car once every couple of months, maybe. But hey, I keep my car in my garage, does that count:oops:?

I used to wash my car all the time when I first got it about 7 years ago. Back then I lived in an apartment complex that did not allow you to wash your car, or do any type of work on your car, on their property, so I used to always take my car to the car wash, at least once every 2 weeks.

Now, since I live at a place where I can wash my car on the property, I can't bring myself to take my car to a car wash. Why should I spend money at a car wash when I could just wash my car at home? The thing about it is, I rarely get out the water hose and the bucket and do any car washing:arghh:.

When I first got my car I would wash it twice a week, even in the winter. Now it's lucky if it gets a bath twice a year as I really don't drive it much. It's generally clean though.

I'm with you. I'd wash my car at least once every two weeks. But, if you claybar your car at least twice a year, it will make it easier during cleaning and weekly spray downs.

I wash my cars a lot less than I used to. Here in the Southwest all you hear about is water conservation and people will give you a dirty look faster for washing their car than they will for driving around a dust ball.

I try to wash my car every other week. It gets dirty so fast. I try to detail my car about every 6 months. With kids it is hard keeping the car clean. In addition to washing the car every other week I also have to vacuum and wipe the inside out often.

I am the poorest example, I am sometimes looking forward to the rain so that he gets cleaned up. I think I wash it only two or three times per year, it's crazy. I have fully washed it about 2 months ago, inside and outside, and it's terrible again... I think I can't wait for the rain this time. :D

You have to remember that cars do not like water. So, if you can, avoid washing it unless it really needs it. Try to use a detailing spray on it. That being said, I wash my car about once a week or so. It sleeps outside, so it is subject to bird poo and other things that fly on it.

My brother in-law loves to wash his car, so two weekends ago he looked at mine and asked for the key and he went to wash it, I supposed he couldn't stand seeing it so dirty! :D

My wife, kids and I went to go somewhere in her car a couple of weeks ago. I looked at the car and said I can't drive like that. So I washed the car before we left.

We had a couple of days of rain so there was road grime on the car yesterday but I didn't have time to do it. We had to get to the Terry Fox run. I drove me nuts to drive with that little bit of dirt on it.

I suppose you really love cars like he does. He had a Ford Focus for many years and it looked like new. But finally he had bad luck poor guy, he bought a new Opel Insignia that cost the eyes out of his face and has given him a lot of troubles...

Not often enough. We're we live, the winters are gnarly, so they don't get washed much then. During the summer months, they get washed more, but living well off the beaten path, they get dirty again real fast.

We have four cars in total with us and we have appointed one to clean it on daily basis but I decided to wash one of my car tomorrow and just went downstairs to park it as the society road construction is in progress, its very unfortunate that I broke the bumper as I did't see the scooter parked nearby. It feels so heavy in my mind as I can't tell it my family members.:(

I used to wash it almost daily, but now I wash it everytime I can remember. I guess it depends a lot on the weather of the place you're living in! If it rains very often, and your car is exposed to dirty puddles, then I'd say you should wash it often. I wash mine a little more often during the rainy season.
