Will The Miami Heat Three-Peat?

Do you think Miami will win it all again or will someone finally knock them off. I like Chicago's chances if Derrick Rose can stay healthy and return to his MVP form.

 

Yeah the Bulls will be a tough out this year and the Cowboys are looking like the best team in the NFC East.

 

Call me a hater but I don't want Miami to win again lol. I'm sick of hearing about them. I'm looking for another team to try and take the title.

 

I really don't want Miami to win again! I just don't like them, Wade, Lebron, and Bosh just seem like they have the worst attitudes and I hate how them treat Mario Chalmers. I don't know who will win but I'm hoping it's the Thunder.

 

Looking at how the season has gone so far i am thinking that the Pacers will win the title.

 

Don't know about the Chicago Bulls, Derrick Rose is already out, I sure hope he gets well enough to even inspire the team down to a play-off position. It's really likely they would be a 3 pact winning streak, my pick to challenge them would be Indiana Pacer or Oklahoma City Thunder.

Yeah OKC has been on a major roll as of late. Durant has been lighting it up and he has been playing at an MVP level.

 

Yeah, Durrant is giving it all his best as he just surpassed Michael Jordan's record of averaging 25points per game for 30 games. Right now though, the team is having some consistencies issues as Russell Westbrooke is currently not in his 100% due to injuries on and off. Though, Reggie Jackson is doing a good job stepping up but I don't see that being concrete when it comes to playing with stronger teams in the play-offs.

 

The way the playoffs are going right now I think they have a great shot at it. Spurs are playing bad and so is Indiana, their only realy foes.

 

As a Cavalier fan, if the Heat win the title again I may or may not cry.

We're down to two teams now and there's a possibility that the Heat will repeat as champions. However, the Spurs lead the series 2-1 and I'd most definitely like then to win. I don't what the Heat to 3-peat because I don't want LeBron James to copy the feat of my favorites Jordan and Kobe.

With how the Spurs are playing, I doubt it. Besides, I think the Spurs deserve the championship this year. They've all improved and play so well now it's impossible to dislike them.

 

Well, as we now know, Miami is in it again against the Spurs. I think the Spurs are going to win the championship. Miami is playing sloppy. They look like they are scared to shoot the ball. LeBron is fabulous, but he is only one man, and therefore he can't win a team sport all by himself, he needs
for some folks to step up.

The Spurs deserve to win, even though I must admit that one of the only players I like on the floor for them is Manu Ginobli. But they work hard, they are masters in the fundamentals of the game. They don't play with a lot of fanfare and showtime, they just get the job done.

 

What about Kawhi Leonard? He's doing a great job staying in front of James and scoring inside and out? Yes, James is the man in the Heat but if you'll observe, that's not really a good thing. Basically, the play of Miami consists of getting the ball to James. He dribbles it and bobs his head for about 10 seconds in isolation. When he has nowhere to go, he passes to the outside and hopes that somebody would get it and shoot the ball and get an assist. That's no play at all. The spurs on the other hand are constantly moving with or without the ball.

 

Yeah, Kawhi is okay, but something that bothered me a bit was that at half-time/end of of game 3, he was so winded. To me, he is way too young to be that winded and seems to need better conditioning as a young player. But, as one of the announcers said, Pop needs to play Kawhi, he's young and needs that play-time. I don't know much about Kawhi, but he looks like a promising player for the Spurs.

I agree with you totally as far as LeBron is concerned. As I said in my previous comment, LeBron can't win games by himself. Basketball is a team sport, and Miami just looks bad on the floor sometimes.
I think their bad game-play has to do with the coaching. In the past, Miami has been able to win games because of their athletic ability, but now a days, I think they need a stern, serious taskmaster as a coach and I just don't think that Eric Spoelstra fits that bill.

I remember some years back when Dwayne Wade was yelling at Spoelstra, courtside. That showed me a lot right there. Wade would've never tried that stuff with a coach like Gregg Popovich.

 

Well that didn't work out for Miami. I thought the small ball scheme probably wore them out during the regular season that when the post season came, they were just a tired bunch. A couple of their experiments also didn't pan out as they hoped with very limited minutes from both Greg Oden and Michael Beasely. More importantly, San Antonio was just a well oiled machine. They were better prepared this time and the Larry O'Brien trophy is the proof.
