I wanted to play sports in high school but never could because I was one of the few who lived further away from school and could never catch a ride home and my mom worked in a different town. Then again, there were people on a lot of the sports teams that I didn't particularly care for so maybe it was for the best. I don't know if it's considered a sport but I did make the colorguard/flag team but had to quit because of the ride situation.

I played football on my freshman team in high school. I played left tackle. It was a pretty okay for the most part. We had a 5-3-1 record and we dominated the teams that we won against. I was thinking about coming back but it was never something i thought i could dedicate myself to long term.

Yes, unfortunately I did, I was a lousy goalkeeper for the soccer team, lol but I could throw a javelin like no other 14 year old, man, that was like 10 years ago! Sports were never really my thing.

I ran track (through the school) and boxed amateur (in a youth group) in that time of my life. While I didn't stick to either in adulthood, the fitness routines learned from both have been instrumental in being able to keep in shape.

Nope, I didn't join any sports club back at school because I wasn't a sportsperson. I do play some sports with friends at school but I never considered joining any team. I play basketball for fun and if I were to join a team, it would be too much pressure and took the fun out of me.

I played Football, Basketball, and ran track. Still have the school record in the 100 meter dash and long jump :). I went onto college and continued my long jump career. It's coming to an end now but I am looking forward to moving on with life!

There is not sports tradition in school in my country so no I didn't play a sport in high school, it was a shame really because I love sports.

Yes, I played netball in high school. It is very much similar to basketball but I've never seen the sport been played by guys. I liked it then, just a pity I didn't continue playing after high school.

During my freshman year in high school, the only sports I have played was basketball and golf. I wish have continued playing throughout my school year and even up to college.

I wrestled in middle school and high school. When I got to college I stopped wrestling and took up BJJ. It still feels weird not wearing shoes on the mat.

Wrestling is a really violent sport, I don't think I could do physical sports, I don't like getting hurt or hurting other people even if it's doing a sport.

I played basketball and tennis. I want great at both sports but I did decent enough to help the team in basketball and win a few games in tennis.

I don't know if you consider this a sport but I also played chess. I was good at it. I placed second in the intramural games. :)

Yes, if you consider chasing girls and drinking at parties a sport...

I played hockey but the High School I attended couldn't afford the insurance so we didn't have a team. I played football but quit the team because it interfered with me not being a jerk. I did join a couple of indoor league soccer and lacrosse teams but again they weren't high school although they were a lot of fun. Oh yeah, I lettered in forensics and earned an NFL membership because my sixth period class made me do it, scouts honor.

Yes, I used to play soccer, and my friends actually said I was a pretty good player! But nowadays I don't play it that often, maybe once a month.

Nope, I was the nerd in high school. Hated physical education lessons and never cared for any team sports. Maybe it was because I didn't like the people in those sports teams.
Now in university I joined indoor soccer team, made good friends with my teammates and my liking for sports carried over when I graduated. Now I mostly jog and go to the gym to keep myself in shape, don't have much time for team based sports because of my job schedule.

I'm never fond of sports, I just played whatever sport we were asked to play during high school. Glad that it was over though, because I never really enjoyed running around and trying to win for some reason. My lazy rear just wants to sit on the couch, haha.

I've always wanted to learn how to play chess, but I have not thought about it for quite a while, until I read your post:).
And you say you were good at it? That's fabulous:thumbsup:.
I've always looked at chess as something really hard to learn.
