The pros of knowing your death info is that you will be able to prepare for it, spiritually and otherwise. Of course, if you're not spiritual then you won't do any spiritual things and you'll just deal with it practically. So would you want to know when you will die? Or you would rather not know because you're too scared, like you're in some sort of countdown? As for me, I'm not afraid of death, so I would want to know.

Nope. I'd not like to know it if my death date was too close! Not at all, because then I'd not enjoy the little time I could have here on earth :( But if my death date is 40 years away and is a death that can be prevented, then yeah  If only life was like that, if we could just get what we want when we want :( If everything could magically work for our own convenience...

Oh my friend did you know that astrology can also suggest how we will die? (not necessarily when) Because when Whitney Houston died, of course her chart was discussed in those astrology forums and it did match how she died! She has Neptune in the 8th house so her death was water related. So true! In my chart it suggests that I might die abruptly, like thru a car accident or something.

I'd like to know if I'd die soon, like from a terminal illness I have or some time sooner to my passing but I'd never go out seeking for answers. This simply increases my distance from the stars, no astrology for me.

Actually astrology really can't say when you will die, but how you will die, it predisposes you to certain illnesses and circumstances. Like my bro for example, he smokes a lot, then when I checked his chart it says that he will die from a lung or smoking related disease. Oh well, that's what you call "destiny".

@ Trellum what do you know, we have the same house placements! Your ruler of your 8th house is also in your 3rd house! Here is what is says, it's soo accurate with our situation: From astrology.com.au:

"If the ruler of the eighth house is placed in the third problems and even bitter disputes may occur with siblings, in particular the younger co-born. According to Vedic astrology the third sector relates to one’s right ear and this, due to the placement of the eighth lord, being a malefic influence can result in tone deafness and other ear troubles. Courage is adversely affected particularly if Mars and Mercury combine - producing a daredevil spirit, who tempts fate and is prone to accidents. When the combination of the third lord, sixth lord, eighth lord and twelfth lord occurs in any combination in this sector a Vipareet Raja Yoga (Negation of negative rulers in conjunction) takes place. Not only are the negative influences curbed but positive results ensue."

Of course not all of that is applicable to us, I'm not a daredevil, but I read that car accident thing somewhere in another website I can't remember which one. That's why it's advisable to read various websites since descriptions may vary. Maybe you will die a sudden death too like me!

Oh darn... is there a house placement for people who are supposed to die from disease ? or our placement is also in that category? And oh my... I expected that, lol. Sudden death is like an accident or an awful disease or...? Just curious. I've always thought my death wouldn't be a natural and peaceful one...:confused: Nope, not for me!

Yes we have the same placement, but it can't exactly pinpoint the exact method since there's also free will, you know someone might murder you or something, lol well you could google "ruler of the 8th house in the 3rd house and death" so that you can compare which result is applicable to you..

Oh, but then death by terminal diseases are included? or that's not an unexpected death? I guess not, well, when you get the diagnosis it is, lol... but you know what I mean. I guess it could be an accident or murder... or even during a surgery. I'll research a bit more :) I think I know what is going to kill me, not sure when tho.

Actually any chronic disease, I noticed that it was indicated again in that person's birth chart, (remember our "slow" friends?) so for me, it helps to know that person already before I take a look at his chart so that I can agree with what it says, like the occupation for example. Too bad I do not know my mom's birth time, she used to suffer from a lot of chronic pain as well and I'm sure it was destined. I read in my chart that I will suffer a loss of a parent during childhood. It resonated again.

No, not really. I don't even know when I am going to die, and I am not afraid of death. I mean we are all aging anyways so we all have to go someday.

Wow... it seems those charts are so exact. To be honest I know very well what will kill me, I'm almost certain. Not sure how soon, but I've always had the feeling I'll not live too long. It's been like that for a while. Glad charts don't give you an estimate of time, hehehe!

I would rather not know. Whether I like it or not, I may get into self-pity, sorrow and other useless feelings. Why not just be cheerful and happy and let transcend to the next life. :)

@Trellum, what is it again is that illness you're battling with? Don't be so pessimistic, who knows, maybe a year or 2 years from now, you will be cured! Actually in the astrology forums they usually analyze the chart of a celebrity when it dies and they put two and two together.. Sometimes the transits in astrology also affect the circumstances and date of your death..

Oh does the pain last all day? That sucks, and if you take painkillers often, you will risk getting immune to it! I'm quite whiny when it comes to body pains, so for sure I might not be able to endure constant pain all day!

I would totally like to know that. If I knew the exact time and way, then I could live a reckless life. Simply because I'd know that 'this is not the way I go' lol.

Thought I know I would try to avoid my death at that 'set' time and date, but can you blame me, who wouldn't try to do the same in my place.

I probably would, but it'd actually better if I knew what happened after I died. You know, like how do people cope with you not being there or whatnot. It's a sadistic thought, but it's always piqued my interest.
