@Trellum, nope, purely psychic abilities, you know I don't order gigs that use tarot, it means that they're not psychic enough, hehe. I will send the link via inbox for you to check it out.

@Livvy, I think the time of death is liable to change, but the method is fixed already. I dunno, because from what I've read, we don't really go to hell or anything like that but in my case I won't be dreading it. It would be nice to say goodbye to problems and Earthly matters.

@johnnear, I think dying in your sleep is the one that everyone wishes for, since it's such a peaceful way to die.

Well yeah, most people want to die while dreaming. But I wanted to die in my sleep dreaming not because it's peaceful or anything, but because I want to see if I would be able to stay in that dream. I just hope I don't die while having a nightmare.

I do not want to know when I am going to die and how I am going to die. But here is some food for thought I am going to be 40 in October and if I live to 65. Thats only 25 more summers, and when you look at life like that it makes you appreciate every moment!

@johnnear, I read that Maya Angelou, who died in her sleep had a peaceful death and transition too the afterlife, so I think we will also have a peaceful transition when we die.

@Soulwatcher well if that's the case, then guess it's time to put up your "Bucket list" lol.

Oh I would love to, but my opinions are formed by people who are experienced in this field like psychic and astral travelers, so here's the link that can explain to you what I'm talking about: http://www.erinpavlina.com/blog/2006/05/what-happens-when-you-die/

Hell no, but also hell yes. If I knew that I was going to die at the age of 90 then I would just live a happy life, going everywhere, travelling the world, not caring about anything. But if I was going to die next year, man I would fall down into a deep state of depression and be stuck there.

No,i wouldn't want to know anything pertaining to my death. It will only make the living days more worse.I will then keep on thinking on caution measures and have sleepless nights.Everything would go haywire and the meaning of life will change altogether.
Death is something that is part and parcel of life, accept it gracefully, just as you did with your birth
You never knew when you were going to come into this universe, then why should it be for death.??

Have you watched the movie "The Bucket List"? You can prepare for your death by doing the things that you have always wanted to do because you know when your time will be up. You can also prepare for your death physically like in practical ways or spiritually as well. I think that's the perks of knowing when you will die.

It's ok, not everyone believes in the afterlife.. But when we get there then we will find out for sure what really goes on in there..

I do respect your opinion, but honestly on the inside,it won't suit me...
Ok,assuming we have a bucket list of "to-do's"..would you do it with the same intensity, the excitement that you would do,if you didn't know your time of death..?
Assuming you wanted to go rafting..Would you be able to enjoy it as a sport..?.we would be doing it just for the sake of doing it before dying.
I might sound like an imbecile to you,but once you put yourself in that situation, you will know..just give it a thought..

@bala, I dunno. It depends. I'm in my 20's, so I think I have lot more years to live, so I think my thinking would be different as compared to someone aged 60 for example.

I would not want to know. I like to live life like everyday is my last. I dont want to have a countdown of when it would happen.
