The Lamborghini Veneno - 4.5 Million Dollars
The Bugatti Veyron - 2.6 Million Dollars
The Aston Martin One - 1.9 Million Dollars
The Hennessey Venom GT Spyder - 1.1 Million Dollars

All of these cars have one thing in common. They're super cars. And they cost millions of dollars.

My question is, if you have the money, would you buy one of these cars?

Yes, I would buy a super car if I had plenty money. The only thing is I wouldn't buy it for myself, maybe my son and then I would just relax in it whenever he drives me around. That would be an awesome experience, turning heads.

HAAAAAA! No, I don't need a super car. I'm not into the cars with all these fancy gadgets and so forth. Don't get me wrong. I love cars and I like a new car but I don't want to feel like I am in the Bat Mobile or something out of a cartoon. A nice, modern car is my spend. With that said, I wouldn't mind taking a ride in one of these super cars just for the experience.

For some reason I've never seen myself as the type of person to buy a supercar. A more of the kind of guy that would buy an SUV or pickup. Those cars a whole lot more suited to me and I feel like be a big deal type of cars for me as an individual. Another thing is I don't really like to speed as much as other people do out there. So supercar is way much more speed than they need personally. So if I had one I would definitely underutilize so in my mind I don't ever see myself owning one of these cars. I'll probably rented or bought it from a friend just to get an experience up one of these cars but I wouldn't personally want to own one.

I'd buy a wrecked, salvage super car and restore it but that's it. I'm not spending almost a million dollars for a car. Not even a half million, even if i was a billionaire.

I don't think I would either. I would rather buy a mid-priced luxury car and drive the heck out of it. Something like a nice Porsche 911 Turbo S coming in at around $70,000 instead of a Lamborghini that goes into the $300K range. I think you can find plenty of cars that make much more sense and work better for cheaper than what super cars cost. Plus I'm not a huge fan of the gas mileage and fragility of most super cars. I don't know too many folks who would feel good about spending that much money on something they could easily destroy in 2 seconds anyways. ;)

If I was a billionaire, yes I would. Just because I could do it. Might as well enjoy your wealth if you have it. You worked hard to get to that point anyways. But right now I couldn't even imagine spending 20k on a car. lol. I rather buy used and modify it myself so I can learn how to fix my own car.

I would buy a Lamborghini but not that one. The regular models would make me happy. I'm not sold on the shape of the Veneno.

If I was a billionaire then buying a car like that wouldn't really be as big of a deal as it was to buy my Jeep that was $19000.

Looking at all the replies made me feel if i do have the attitude of a "spendthrift"...I surely would buy one.I love it when the car gets torquey..It is like a girl getting all the more horny.taking it out for a spin would be an awesome moment then..I have always dreamt of crossing the 300kmph mark and would love to breach it one day..and that is possible only with a super car..
Although i wouldn't shell out 4.5 mn for lambo,i would get the spider..:p

If I had the money for my dream car I would definitely buy it, but I don't, so I won't buy it.

Never. I would rather have a restored classic any day. Classic's have a beauty about them, maybe it's just nostalgia.

If I had the money sure I would, I would be at the Lamborghini dealer in a heartbeat. I some times dream about hitting the lotto and going to the Lamborghini dealer with all cash lol. I can just imagine the sales people flocking all over you if you brought in a briefcase filled with cash lol.

I've always wanted a Ferrari since I was a kid so I'd probably buy one if I had the money. I have been in one at car shows a bunch of times and driven in one once. I actually rented a Ferrari for my prom which was driven by the owner of the dealership because no way in hell was I going to drive a rented Ferrari and most likely crash it haha. My dad set the whole thing up through a friend but it cost a few hundred for an hour or two and we didn't need to put down a deposit because we agreed to just let the owner drive me and my date to prom. She had to sit on my lap but I was cool with that. lol.

Honestly, probably not. We're a pretty frugal household and we don't buy expensive toys. I would buy nicer vehicles with better options, but I can't see dropping that kind of cash on a vehicle, even if I had that amount of dough to throw around.

Yeah, it's kind of a wrong investment if you think about it. Aside from the extremely high cost of purchasing these super cars, you would also have to deal with the fuel that they consume. I heard that these types of cars consume triple that of a normal car. Imagine, having to park that $4M car in a public parking. You won't have any peace of mind because you would be thinking of it all the time.

Lol, this sentence in bold made my day. :p

Not really, really fast cars to the point where it goes like 150mph would be too fast for my liking. I like classical cars and slow rides, not some state of the art Bugatti. I'm a more relaxed kind of guy so I guess it suits me as well.

    Thanks..:D..
I have penchant for comparing girls with cars.Riding both gives you a special feel every time.

Oh..i second your thoughts on fuel consumption.I am having a torrid time with the BMW 320d,i don't get anything more than 10-12 kmpl and to top it all you should be worrying about it all the time.
    What car do you own.??
