That is another matter, women to enjoy a washed car more than men sometimes, but with 2 kids some things are a little left behind.

You're not a poor example, you're just Portuguese, like me. I don't know many Portugueses that care much about washing the car, especially the outside. Last time I washed mine was probably over an year ago. :S The rain mantains it clean. I should give it a wash somewhen this week though, so I can post some picture here. hahaha.

It really depends. My car is always in the garage so it will not get dirty overnight from the moisture. Whenever I see some imperfections, I would use a quick detailer on the problem area, then wipe it off and it will look good as new.

The FJ doesn't get washed very often.....it's only going to get dirty again. It gets hosed off when it is muddy, but the only time it gets a through washing is when it goes in for servicing.

I think it depends really on where you are located more then anything else. That said I live in california so I wash my car probably maybe once a month or so. Sometimes not even that..

I believe the time taken to wash a car has to be decided by the owner because I have seen some really dirty ones on the road and they are still in working condition. Anyway, I always wash my car at least at least once per week, since I like to have a clean car when I go out on the weekend.

We washed @Lisa car three times in the last four days. I came home Thursday night from work. When I parked next to her car I noticed some clean spots. I said who washed the car? She said that she did it. I said you missed a spot. I wasn't trying to be mean but I had to point it out. Well I was getting ready to jump in the shower and looked out the window. I noticed more missed on the drives side. She was in a rush because she was cooking supper and taken care of the kids. I was too tired to do anything but I couldn't leave the car like that. I told her that I couldn't have anyone thinking I did that. And I also couldn't let people think she did that. She normally does a much better job.

So before taking a shower, I washed her car again and wiped it down with Mother's quick detailer and dressed her tires.

Then today she was going to take my mother shopping and I noticed that the car was dusty. So I washed it again for her so she can drive happy. I also extracted the car yesterday for her. I still have more work to do on her car but it is better then it was.

It's better to wash your car as often as you can or 3-4 times a month, especially the interior. Don't let the smell get attached to the seats and ceiling, it is very hard to remove that smell, such as raw meat or fish. The exterior is easier to clean. Apply wax on it every 3-4 months to maintain its smoothness and protect its paint.

My first car got washed almost daily, after that its been longer and longer, now I wash it when it gets dirty, like every 3 weeks or so.

My new Jeep was washed 2.5 times in the first two days.

It still gets washed every other day. I work on a dusty road. All the trucks driving down it kick up a lot of dust. And then the the dust from the concrete plant on top of that it gets dirty quick.

If my wife's car is home I will wash that at the same time. That has been dirtier then the Jeep for the last week or so because of the weather when she was driving. So at times the Jeep gets washed because I want to wash her car for her so I do them both.

I only put about 3k miles on my car ever 6 months. So it really doesn't get that dirty. I usually end up washing it once a month unless its full of salt. In that case I will get it washed the next nice day.

I wash my car twice a month or when its very dirty, whichever comes first. I don't know if its just me, but whenever I wash my car it seems to rain afterwards.

I guess that really depends on how clean you like your cars. I generally wash my truck about two times a month, sometimes less often like in the rainy months. If there is one thing I hate it is driving around in a messy car that is covered in dirt and bird droppings. Luckily the inside of my truck doesn't really get dirty, I always clean up every time I leave some trash in there.

I don't get too crazy with it because I've heard that if you wash it too much with subpar equipment, it can scratch off your paint and damage your car. That... and I'm pretty lazy. I usually don't wash mine unless I know it's not going to rain for about 2 weeks and my car is getting absolutely covered in dirt/pollen. I don't vacuum out the interior as well unless I just can't stand to look at it. If I'm doing the interior though, I'll usually do the outside too.

As long as you have a good clean microfiber and wash top to bottom you should be fine.

I was washing the Jeep Friday and my neighbors son said what is that for. I said it is a cloth to wash my Jeep and he said you are always washing it. Lol. My neighbors always joke about how much I was it. I will even wash it before it rains.

Depends on the car for me,
The Camaro gets a bath any time I take it out, since it looks so good all shiny.

The 4Runner though, in the Summer I try and wash it every few weeks. In the winter though, it could go months without a good cleaning.
