To make it more easier, how about if you change your cellphone number too, especially if you're not on a plan so that it would be easier to change numbers so that he can't contact you at all anymore.

Regarding my diet, well so far, so good, I'm just reducing my food intake, and I'm trying to lessen up the carbs, but I don't have time to exercise right now. :(

I'm really glad that you are doing good on your diet:) . Reducing food intake and upping the exercise is the way to do it, but it's hard, isn't it??

I'm doing good too, although I'm getting kind of irritated about so much food restriction. I want to eat what I want, when I want. I could pretty much do that if I was working out a couple hours a day, but since I'm not, a lot of eating is out of the question.

I understand what you are saying about having no time to workout. Time is not my challenge, my challenge is laziness:nailbiting::yuck::inpain::(:sorry:. I have to get over it.

My cell phones are off. I think there is a thread here on this forum where I was saying that my cells are off. I feel that I've left them off long enough to where when I get them turned back on, I will get a new number. Maybe I can just request a new number, I don't know.

Turning the phones off are a step, but my ex also shows up at my house, totally unannounced. Hadn't talked to him in a month and he showed up on my doorstep on New Year's Eve:eek: , ready to party. I didn't open the door:stop: . Pretended like no one was home.

He left me several messages on my answering machine talking about he was outside with this bottle of liquor and that bottle of liquor. I thought to myself, "There is no way I'm answering that door, no matter how many times you come by:hilarious::thumbsup: "

Seems like that guy is still pretty much into you. If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason for your break up? But if you don't want to say then it's ok. Regarding my diet, I was able to eat just 1 meal yesterday, so if I can keep this up for 1 month then it would be great! I have been told that my face noticeably gets slimmer when I miss some meals. :D I think eating peanuts as snacks can make you lose the urge to munch on more fat inducing food. :D

He might be into me, but I don't like how I don't get a phone call from him for a month, even just to say hi, and then he shows up on my doorstep on New Year's Eve ready to party. It's like, really??o_O That kind of behavior makes me feel like he's not into me at all. And certainly make me feel like I'm not into him.

We broke up because he's a wanna-be "flosser." Exaggerates what he has, what he's done, a pretend ladies man. I know it's an ego thing, but I don't like it. Just chill and be you. That's on my end.

On his end, he was not ready to commit to me. He wanted to be with me, but he wanted others too. Why? because of his ego, and his (kind-of) low self-esteem. He feels that he has to "prove" that he can get a lot of women.
I said in an earlier reply that he could be my soul mate, but now I don't think so.

I'm glad that you're sticking to your diet:singing::woot:! It feels good to be successful at something that is so hard:inpain:. You can totally keep it up for a month:thumbsup: , just have to take it one day at a time. One day at a time is key. And most importantly, I think one has to have the faith that they can and will succeed this time.

Saturday I almost went off my diet, thank goodness for my son who said that he didn't feel like going to the store with me to get any groceries. Since I didn't want to go by myself, I just stayed home...and stayed on my diet, as opposed to going to the grocery store and buying up a bunch of stuff (had my grocery list all made out and everything:hilarious::playful::D).

Mmm, peanuts sound good. They are not on my diet list though, I'm doing, like, a soup diet. You know, you've seen those people on TV commercials talking about how eating soup can help you lose weight:). So, I'm doing just the soup thing for awhile.

People always set NYR's for themselves but never really do them lol, but good luck on yours. My NYR for myself is to be good in school. I was always good in school, considered the nicest kid in the school, but academics wise.. nope.. but since year 10 I have been improving.

Only goal or resolution for me is to be more healthier. I'm not concerned about losing any weight or gaining any muscle. I just want to be healthier this year. Too many people I know last year have had some health issues cause they weren't really taking care of themselves.

Since I broke one of my resolutions already(I knew I would) can I make some valentines day onwards resolutions?

I promise myself not to eat too much chocolate, starting a week after valentine's until Halloween!

    How does that sound?

Just an update on my "Project Save $$'s for my Grand daughter's wedding which at the moment is progressing slowly but steadily. Barring any unforseen incidents or expenses I may be able to make the trip. Wish me luck. Although I am not thrilled to be going back in the fall when the temperature is much colder than here in Southeast Asia.:)

No worries, there's no chance of that happening. There's an old saying that goes like this: "FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU. FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME"! I subscribe to that saying.

My new year resolution is always the same each year. It is to try to be better in the coming year than I was in the previous one. If I can accomplish that I will consider it a good year.:)
