Twelve years. That’s how long Volvo’s been peddling its current XC90 crossover SUV, which debuted at the 2002 Detroit auto show before going on sale as a 2003 model. Since then, the XC90 has received remarkably few changes. A wonderful Yamaha-designed V-8 engine option came and went and a few tweaks hit the model for 2013, but it’s largely been status quo for Volvo’s de facto flagship. I kinda like this a little bit. I think that I would like it a whole lot better if the hood
was about an inch shorter, but, be that as it may...
I like Volvos. Although I would probably pick an Audi or a BMW if I had to pick just one SUV,
if I could afford whatever I want, I would buy one of these and add it to my fleet.

Love the fact that it seats 7, although I would use the room
for hauling groceries and transporting home goods, as opposed to riding people around.
