I was just scrolling through a few things when I came across this beautiful car. I didn't see a price for it, but it is supposed to come out in 2013. I just know that if I were a multi-millionaire, I probably wouldn't be one for long as I'd buy way too many cars.

Damn. Nice car. Looks long. I would have the same problem. I would have to try to control myself. I would have to try to make a rule that I wouldn't buy a car and then go buy another with the temp tags still on the first one. LOL. That rule doesn't apply to the first month. The first month I'm I will be a kid in a candy store.

I think it looks about as long as a Maserati. I prefer a long car as I want to know that I can sit in it with ease and I also want to look like I can sit in it to anyone looking. I've seen people squeezing themselves into a sports car just so they can say that they have one and it's not a pretty sight.

I'm short so I can fit well in most cars.

I remember when I was trying to get my first car and the salesman was trying to push a Suzuki SUV sort of deal on me. It was one of the smaller versions to compete with the RAV4. Anyway, I told the guy that the vehicle itself was nice, but I couldn't fit into it. He scoffed and was like, "are you crazy? This thing is plenty big enough! Try it."

So, I was ready to move onto another part of the lot and we'd been going back and forth for a bit. I relented, got in and showed him my knees were right on the dash. He moved the seat back and my knees were barely away from the dash. I asked him, "can I get out now before I actually get stuck and have to drive this to the hospital?" :D

I guess the customer isn't always right unless they jam themself into a small suv and prove that they are right.

I don't know why he pushed the point. Fit or not you were not all that interested in that suv. I don't know about some sales people.

I won't be too hard on him. He obviously wanted the sale, but he was also trying to get me into a vehicle that could get approved as I needed a vehicle for my new job at the time. He was trying to steer me to something he thought would work and I knew what I could get approved so we were on different levels of faith about the situation.

Its good that he was trying to make it work for you but he also has to take the blinders off and look for other options to make the deal work.

Ugh. That entire period was unnecessarily stressful, but the last dealership that I dealt with were beyond great. It may have had something to do with my knowledge of the entire process growing exponentially from the first dealer to the last one. I told the guy on the phone: if I come out there on the train, I expect to be driving away. Am I?

    I did. :D

Its amazing how different the experience can be from one dealer to the next. Having knowledge of what your looking at can help a lot. Some sales people could be new and still learning the product. Some might have been there for a while but rather then learn the product they will just bs and hope you don't notice.

I looked at a Jeep TJ and this sales guy in a leather vest, knew nothing about Jeep other then it had 4 wheels. And he can't drive a stick to save his life.

Went to a Chrysler dealer looking at a minivan. The female sales person was very friendly and knew just as much as me about the product if not more. I left there really impressed with her knowledge and she was also very friendly.
