Even if our car doesn't have tinted windows, if I were to own one in the future then I would prefer it to be tinted, because car windows that aren't tinted makes you very exposed, like the other day while I stuck in traffic I saw a girl absent mindedly picking her nose, lol. So that's quite embarrassing, so to avoid that situation, you gotta have tinted windows. How about you, which do you prefer, windows with tint or no tint?

You saw a girl picking her nose that must have been funny. I prefer tinted windows instead of non-tinted because I like a lot of privacy, and I don't want anyone seeing me doing something strange in my car.

I perfer tinted windows, not to pick my nose but I like the look. I also like that it can cut down on interior temps.

I prefer tinted windows any day. But not so dark tinted that the cops would pull you over thinking that you're suspicious or anything but just enough to prevent bystanders to see what's going on in your car easily, they would have to look real hard to see and that's how I like it.

I'd prefer tinted windows. It's not so much for the privacy but the look as well. It would have to be on a really nice car though.

Yeah it was quite funny, she doesn't know that someone was watching her, so she kept going at it, with the flicking gestures and all, lol. I can't stop laughing that time. Anyway, I would have to agree that tinted windows is better, in regards to both the look and to your privacy.

Well for the sake of privacy I would definitely prefer tinted windows. After hearing about this girl picking her nose during traffic, lol, tinted windows is a must. I like the look also and I think the tint helps prevent the harsh burn from the sun as well.

I prefer tinted because it makes me feel like there's more privacy. Also, I think it looks much cooler than non-tinted windows. That's just an opinion because I know some people think the complete opposite.

I only really like tinted windows on black cars, I guess I just like the whole blacked out look. I thought about tinting my windows but then I realized I wasn't too inclined to spend a ton of money to black out everything else.

Speaking of that "blacked out" look, I saw a green car the other day that had matching green tinted windows on it, and it looks really good. Now I think that aside from black, other colors would also look good on your car window, as long as it matches the color of your car. If the colors don't match, then I don't think that it would look as good.

That's actually really cool, I've seen tinting other than black. I never knew you could get other colours, now I want to see what would look like in person.

Colored tint can look cheap in some cases. Its a tough one. I don't remember too many that have looked really good.

It depends. When I was down in California, it was a big plus because it decreased the temperature inside the vehicle by quite a bit. It also cut down the sun glare. Now that I am in the northern states, I'd still say I like them for aesthetic reasons, but high temperatures are not real common.

It still helps with the high summer temps. You just don't have the high temps for as long. It also helps with the sun in the winter. I find the sun is an issue in the winter while in the car. So there is still benifits. But in the north I think the main reason is for the look. The other benefits are just bonuses.

Well, I think that as long as the color is a conventional and classic one like dark green or dark red, then I think that it would look ok. The more bright colors and the neon ones are the ones that might look tacky.

I like my car tinted but I find that cops think that I have something to hide. When I was in CA, I was pulled over just because of my tinting. I was told that it was too dark and that I have to remove it and make it better. I went and got it done again. Its hard with police. If you drive your car with too much tinting. They think that you have something to hide from them when you don't. I have a car without tinting right now and the sun is just so irritating. I'm going to sell it so I'm not going to put the money in to tint it just yet. I think tinting is a cool thing and I love how it looks. I like the shade it gives me. I feel cooler with it.

I think that's unfair. They can always search every nook and cranny of your car to prove that you got nothing to hide. No need to have the tint changed.
