Hello there, I would like to learn more about cars since I've been driving for quite a long time. I've had my fare share of trouble with them. I currently own a BMW 3 Series.

It's actually an old one - 2003 plate 316i. I never used to be a big fan of Beemers probably because a lot people used to go on about them and I dreamed of maybe owning a Merc one day. But BMW has grown on me and hope to get a newer model once I get into a better financial position.

Well at least you've done a good job of maintaining that car, it's 2013 already and I assume that it's still doing well.

I did have issues with the timing chain few months back. I had to invest a few bucks to get that sorted, but all okay now. I have upgraded a couple of tires and will be looking to do the rest. But yeah certainly, cars can be a big drain on your pocket so it's best to try and maintain them so less likelihood of problems cropping up.

Your right. Fixing things right away can sometimes save you lots of money. Also if you let things go, then you end up with a few more small problems and one big bill. If you do them as they come then you have smaller hits to the wallet/purse and also you have a safer vehicle that is more fun to drive.
