They say it's a electric car with a piezoelectric cell layer that will create energy as the air moves over it. The car is wild. There is more to the story as well as more pics at http://www.zurmat.com/2012/05/22/xkx-jaguar/ . What do you think of it?

That is a Super Sexy car and even hotter if it produces energy when you drive it because of the wind going over it:) If I had the cash I would have a super hot car like this though:) you know because money talks in that world:)

I've liked the look of a lot of Jaguars, but have they improved dramatically on their reliability? When I was a kid, all of the people that I knew with a Jag only got to drive it occasionally and their most frequent trip was to the mechanic.

So This Jag Has these microscopic ripples of piezloelectric cells, which produce electricity when airflows over them. This in turn goes back to the car as power:) this car is awesome:)

Thats what they say. I wonder how much energy it produces? I wonder if they could use that on the blades of a wind turbine to increase the output.

I used to love the old Mark Ten Jaguars.

You don't see many of them about nowadays, but they were sublime to drive for a sixties car.

For a modern Jag, I would have to go with the new XJ.
