Tomorrow is Sunday and Top Gear USA it's airing, given that most of you are from the USA, I wanted to ask if you like it or you still prefer the UK version. I personally I think the US version is very funny, maybe a bit too scripted, they should let the puns and jokes flow naturally, and they should cut the damn commercials and let it run 60min instead of 40.

I watched a bit of the US one before. It wasn't too bad. On its own it would be pretty good. The UK one sets a high standard. They also seem to be able to do things that are not always done on car shows in North America. They beat on cars and they will trash talk it if they don't like it. Not sure where they get the funding for the show but it can't be car manufactures. LOL..

I have never watched the US version of Top Gear. The UK version is interesting, I usually watch it with my son a lot.

I love the US version, and actually prefer it to the British version. I think the hosts are more light hearted, and the show focuses on the challenge aspect of the show, which have always been my favorite. I think the ideas they come out with are very interesting, and Tanner, Rutledge, and Adam are hilarious. Thanks for giving me a heads up on the new season, I can't wait. :)

I live in Florida, but I prefer the UK trio. They're much more entertaining and much less cheesy.

I used to watch the US version, but the scripted stuff just got out of hand for me and I just lost interest in it.

I don't think the American version is as scripted as the British version. They have much more planned segments and reviews on their show than the Americans, who joke with each other spontaneously and just have to do challenges.
