I am a travel fan. Whenever I get the chance to travel, I make the most of it. Travelling is a pleasure that contributes not just great memory, experience but knowledge.

It may sound so deep, but I want to put this topic this way. I have travelled already to some places and I can tell that every journey is priceless. The great people, cultures, food, style and places leave me this certain feeling of being alive every now and then.

I travel because I want to learn, to experience and to live.

How about you? Do you like travelling? Why are yoou travelling?

I'll be traveling to the Netherland on January next year, to be honest I don't feel very thrilled, but this trip was unpanned and I really have to go there. Plus the ticket is in my hands already. The reason I don't want to go is because I'm not feeling that well, I've been struggling with a chronic disease for 2 years and half, and I don't feel in the mood to travel for hours and running away the airport. Actually that's the only part I don't like about traveling, but hopely once I get there I'll just relax and have a great time :)

Traveling within the country is not really a hobby for me. The reason for this is because of what it takes to get ready for the journey. Packing of bags, the time it takes to get to the destination (especially if I'm traveling by road) all this just makes it not exciting.
But if I have to travel out of the country, I'm excited because I'm going to be meeting new people I've never met before, seeing new places, culture and having new experience.
Traveling out gives me enlightenment and exposure to new things. I love to travel out.

reply: Yes I have traveled while serving in the military. It was an interesting journey of travels. I have encountered different cultures, lifestyles, and foods that I kept in my journal. I do have to say it was a great experience overall except two sand countries in the middle east.

I travel because of two main reasons. Reason 1 - since I am in sales and have to cater to different geographies, I travel to keep my work commitment. Reason 2 - for pleasure. This is something I do with my family and friends.

Also, I need to admit travelling itself, whether for work or pleasure, is a pleasurable experience. :)

Thanks guys for sharing your great journeys. Yes, we do have our different reasons why we travel and we have the same feelings of joy and blessings because we have the chance to do these! I feel always blessed and priveleged when I travel, imagine how many people will even want to do such, so for us, who have been given opportunity, let us make the most of it and be thankful.

I travel a ton for work. Somewhere between 1/3 to 1/2 of my year is spent in hotels. But I love getting out of town even if its for a job.

For me I travel anywhere all over the world. And my main agenda for this is always for business reasons or holidays. I love it to visit new places interacting with unfamiliar people as this gives me the courage to keep on knowing certain matters that are deeper than my understanding. I also love it to get new business ideas from different people all over the world who have varying levels of skills and knowledge.

Even when I am travelling for the purpose of business I always think of it as fun, as long as it is not by air. I always like to view the beautiful mountainside and taste different types of food along the way. When I travel abroad my fun begins when I reach my destination. I enjoy hooking up with old friends, meeting new people and experiencing different culture.

I think traveling taps into the inherent nomadic tendencies that all humans have. I love to go to new places, try out new things and make new acquaintances.

I don't really like to travel, so the bad thing about it is I'm not familiar with most roads except for the ones that I have been to the most often. I just don't really like to go to far places just to do nothing. Of course, travelling when you can afford it for pleasure is another story.

I travel a lot around the country with my wife simply for a break and to explore but also been away abroad to escape the troubles and hassles at home haha. Such a nice feeling to be away from everything without a care in the world... until you get back of course.

Lately I've been having the same feeling to just get away for a while. Sadly, it's not something that I can just get up and do since I have a business to run and we open 365 days a year. Last Sunday my daughter did drag me away for Mother's Day though. Lol. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure out something for a few days soon.
