I like listening to some nice music meanwhile driving, depending on my mood. I don't mind listening to it while in good mood, but always on normal volume, not too high because it can get annoying and can drive my attention off the road.

I can listen to music no matter the mood I'm in. If I'm in a bad mood, it helps me feel better, and if I'm in a good mood I'll blast it for the better. I wont overdo it to cause a problem for others though.

Yes I like listening to music while driving. But I choose the kind of music I listen to- songs that lift my spirit and are inspiring. This is what I always do. At times I listen to gospel ministers while driving, this is so that as I'm driving I have something going into my spirit so that I can become a better person and eventually a better driver.

That's very nice, Bonyi :) If you feel that listening to gospel ministries will help you to become a better person and a better driver, then that's great! You're the first person who mentions something like this, most people like to blast pop or rock music while driving.

I don't like pop or rock. I prefer gospel any day, any time. That's my favourite. Glad to know you're hearing it for the first time. You can try it out yourself.

I have never tried, I'm not a christian person, but I think Gospel is a way better music genre than rock or pop. At least you don't get wrong ideas from listening to it. Nowadays music is just... so strange! I think the youth have some really awful role models. Some lyrics are way too graphic as well...

I don't listen to music when I drive. If it is ever on it's to the point where I barely realize that it is playing. When on the road you have to pay full attention to everything around, especially crazy drivers. Having the music on can be a big distraction that may even cause an accident.

I'm not particularly concerned about having music, I just like listening to the radio especially when I'm driving alone. I don't like my driving being too quiet so I turn on the radio and listen to whatever's on. I enjoy listening to the deejays talk and music is only like dessert to the main course.

I can't drive without music because it gets extremely boring, so with music I get more way more motivated.
I usually put my own music so it's always my likes. :D

I know what you mean, I might start listening to music if I get to stay on the Netherlands. People here seems to know how to drive and hate getting their cars dented. I might be able to relax while driving over here ;)

I almost always have the radio on in the car, It doesnt distract me most of the time I'm pretty deep in thought or so focused on the road that I don't even hear the radio, it's just background noise. Sometimes I like to put CD's but thats only when I know I'll be in transit for a while like going somewhere far away or sitting in traffic.

The question is: Who doesn't love to listen to music while driving. Driving without music is kind of boring for me. I like to drive around with those hard rock 80s and 90s song just for the thrill of the ride. Now that I think of it I must look like an idiot when I lip sync those songs.

I can only drive with my music on. From what I gather, most of you guys are going to dislike me because I'm that guy who has the volume quite high. With a Bose system and 8 speakers with a mid-size subwoofer in the back, it'd be a shame to not have the windows vibrating. I'm a very careful driver though, I always scan my mirrors and look before switching lanes. If I don't have music on, my mind starts wandering and I get lost within, the music keeps me grounded.

Yes, quite, I will dislike you because you are that guy with the annoying uber loud music and a sound system fit for a live preformance in a stadium;) but I understand your reasoning,it's interesting to see it from another perspective, if it helps you drive and keep you 'grounded' then great man, do it!:headphone:

I would say it depends on the road condition. If the road requires me to be alert all the time, such as when I pass by schools where a lot of kids can just suddenly cross, I would prefer that my car is quiet so I can focus. When I'm driving along highways, I would prefer to have a bit of music as highways can really be very boring. I also feel sleepy at times whenever I drive at the highway, especially at night.
