Today I went to see a doctor (actually did a lot things today), because it turns out I have a massive hiatal hernia, sadly I came back feeling very confused because this doctor said my hernia didn't require a surgery and my GERD wasn't caused by it... PFFFFT!!!! I'm in hell thanks to this dang hernia... and he says that?! Nausea almost the whole day everyday!? Gotta be kidding me. I left that place feeling so confused. This was this evening. In the morning we went grocery shopping, a long day... tonight I will drop dead.

Damn sorry to hear that. So is the doctor saying it will improve on its own?

@Trellum, so that's what's making you nauseous? I'm sorry to hear that you have hiatal hernia. I think that is caused by lifting very heavy objects right? If you're confused about the diagnosis of your doctor, then it would be best to get a 2nd opinion right?

Anyway, I'm busy catching up on the films and tv shows that I downloaded online, it's just now that I got to watch them.

Yeah, he suggested I could be pregnant too, lol. I didn't like that doctor... been so busy lately coming and going from x hospital to get this and that done, then see this awful doctor. I had no choice, my doctor is abroad right now, but coming back next week. I got an appointment with him on Wednesday... Praying I get some answers!!!!!

This doctor was so ugh... he said my nausea wasn't caused by the massive hernia that is blocking a big part of my stomach :wideeye::bored: Seriously...! He is a surgeon too, but he seems so clueless... everywhere I have read it says this hernia causes GERD which also causes nausea! Careful with bad doctors!

By the way, it's great you are doing something to distract yourself ;) I should do the same :smug:

Thank you James! Sadly the doctor I saw yesterday seemed so clueless... I will see my doctor on Wednesday next week and get a second opinion. This doctor I saw yesterday said I didn't need to worry about that hernia!!! But truth is this hernia is giving me GERD, so I'm nauseous everyday almost the whole day, plus other symptoms that are so tough!

I'm not doctor, but this can't be normal.. that thing is so massive is blocking the duodenum. I hope this other doctor doesn't tell me the same thing the one from yesterday did! I can't live with that in there  Wish me luck this Wednesday... so nervous!

I am so sorry to hear about your health condition Trellum... :( I know this probably doesn't help, but have you looked online for your symptoms? Sometimes it might lead to someplace... Or alternative cures?

I woke up and went hiking down a trail we have near our house because it was so nice out today. After that I pulled four ticks off my leg and ordered a new graphics card for the computer I'm building off newegg. Nothing much else has really been going on.

Well today I did nothing, and plan on doing nothing. I got a phone call from my sister asking if I wanted to go to Disney World on Spring Break. Since my birthday is Tuesday, and I have nothing plan, I said yes. Other than that, I just plan on chilling at the house or doing what ever comes up. I am not a planner, I just let it flow.

Man, I didn't realize that this was created in 2012. I read the first post about Father's Day shopping and went into panic mode, thinking that it was coming up within the next few days.

So far all I've done is go to the gym today. I might go on a drive later to get out of the house. I'll have to find a new area to explore.

Cleaned the flat in the morning, out to lunch with the family and visiting my parents in the afternoon, pretty tiring day. :)

I did a lot of home work (college student) and then I cooked up some chicken fried rice for dinner. It turned out pretty well, but I'm going to add some eggs next time.

It's been raining all morning so there isn't much I can do on the outside. I intend to do some baking as soon as I remove myself from the computer. My family will be happily surprised when they get home because they love my baked products.

What did I do today? I'm currently doing some "handyman work" at home for the past week now.

I washed my car, went to the store to buy windshield washer fluid, and now I'm getting ready to go to take a friend to the gym for the first time. I'm taking him to Chipotle after and then I'll probably just relax for the rest of the night.

He's been wanting to go for a while but he hasn't been able to find the motivation to go by himself. I have a few extra guest passes, so I figured I'd help him get started.

I didn't feel like paying for the gym since I have equipment at home. My brother in law gave me some passes about 2 or 3 years ago. I went with him and then decided to join back up. That got me back into the gym. Started a new job and that messed up my training with him. I started to go to a gym closer to work. That was going great for a year and a half. Then I got sick and took a little time off and then changed jobs. It made it harder to want to go with the new job. I was out of the gym for a year. Well 2+ months ago I finally got back in and I'm loving it. Seeing nice results.

Yeah, I used to workout at home before I joined a gym. After joining a real gym, I realized that the gym atmosphere helps motivate me much more than working out at home with limited equipment. I've been at this gym for a little under a year now; it's hard to beat $10/month when it comes to gym memberships. It's cool to watch both my body and the rest of the gym regulars' bodies change over the months.
