On my way home the other day I was almost ran off the road by this lady driving a straight truck. I was heated but what made me even more upset was the fact that she was eating a bag of chips and that's why she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. I've been guilty of eating while driving , maybe a few fries here and there. Do you eat while driving? What is the easiest (or hardest) thing to eat?

I thought long and hard and I just can't recall ever eating while driving, except candy or gum but never sticking my hand into a bag. I try to be cautious as I can because the drivers here can be very careless and selfish so paying attention on the road is essential.

On occasion I do eat while I drive. Sometimes I don't have any other choice but to eat while I drive as I tend to get busy with errands from time to time. For me the easiest thing to eat while driving is a hamburger. You can hold it with one hand and still be able to drive safely.

No I do not, not only does it make a big mess in the car. But its just as bad a texting, because your mind is not on the road. I don't know about your area, but I have seen plenty of accidents lately. I think law enforcement needs to crack down on people more often. I am afraid to get on the road because I don't know if I am going to make it back in one piece.

No, I certainly don't. I can't say that I've never done it, but eating whilst driving isn't something I've done in years.

No, never. Because I like to stay focused while driving.
I've never had an accident and I plan to keep it that way.

I hate to admit it, but I actually do eat while I drive. I never had time in the mornings to eat anything before going to work. So, I would always eat something from a fast food restaurant or a store on the way. After a while, I got pretty good at it, lol. I wouldn't recommend doing it if there is a lot of traffic though, just to be safe.

I do eat while driving, especially when I'm sleepy.

I can't say that I have never eaten anything while driving, but usually it's a small snack, that doesn't take my attention from what's happening on the road in front of me. If I really am hungry and there are no restaurants along the way, then I just pull over and eat my meal in my car.

But I have seen all kinds of drivers, eating and drinking behind the wheel. This one time I was in a car where driver was eating a full meal from one of those plastic food boxes. He had fork and everything.. Needless to say I was quite scared for my life.
