I too never really enjoyed high school in those years. I was bullied and I never got any help from the school staff. I never had any good friends to hang out with. The teachers I had only cared about the popular students.

It was pretty chill, didn't get bullied or anything. Got average grades, although I was pretty good in ICT. I was known as the tech-kid or wizard or whatever you can call me in my class.

I feel you man, that totally sucks. :/ Why wouldn't you get any help from the school staff? Didn't you want to change your school?

I hated it. I was bullied and stuff. Scrawny and small was good at sports but never got the respect of the popular kids.

I just could never change schools and my parents did not care either. The school staff just cared about the popular kids and no one else. That is why I kept my problems to my self.

Today I got a call from an old high school friend and it brought back great memories. I wouldn't say my high school years were perfect but I had good friends and caring teachers so I don't have much regrets or bad memories.

High school was okay for me. It was not stressful, I never ran into any problems with anybody. Even though I did my work and make excellent grades, I did conversate with a lot of people of all different kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I was cool with anybody and everybody. I was able to fit in any group. I even had a nickname is high school, Killer. Because I like to play around and they just gave me that name.
I do wish I could have done more while in high school. I would have went to more school events, more games, and went to prom. But I still feel it went great for me.

I guess this is the one regret I have about high school too. I wasn't into much of the extras and looking back I wished I had participated in more activities and also went to the prom, those could have been great memories.

My 1st year of high school was so inspiring and fun because of my crush, and I have lots of friends, but the grades were not so good due to not studying well. The 2nd year was ok, but the 3rd and 4th year were forgettable, because I transferred school and my classmates were just ok, but quite "lame".

I never cared much for the prom because that is where all the people I did not liked were at. I never participate in the clubs. I just never had much love and remember from high school.

Well things got slightly better but the high school feeling was still there. I went to Modesto Junior College and I still had a tough time trying to meet people. I had professors there that did not care very much except for a few. Meeting girls on that campus was harder than I thought it was like they were stuck up and did not want to talk to me. I would try to say hello and most would just ignore me. Some of the classmates I have had were okay just trying hang out with them was difficult since they all live in different places. So I just only was able to hang out by myself. Meeting people for me is like a bad curse that rises up. I try to meet people but it just doesn't seem to work out for me. It like people act like a jerk towards me like I did something wrong to them. I don't know why folks act that way towards me. I am not in school right now I just never had positive feelings towards school ever, which I got my Associate in Science degree in Business Administration still have not found any work yet.

I see, sorry to hear that you did not seem to enjoy your social life while you were in school. Maybe you were just meeting the wrong kind of people. I noticed that most US kids are stuck up. Maybe when you start to work then things will get better. Are you now applying to several companies? I think dating girls can follow once you get a stable job.

I have applied to numerous places and the most recent place I had applied to was Orchard. Every time I fill out the application I do exactly what I am supposed to do and I don't get anywhere. I even called the places I had applied to and the managers don't seem like they want to talk to me. I walk in person and ask and nothing good comes from it. This is why I look for work online since the job market is tough to find something where I live. It is like a click where I live so if you don't fit in you won't find anything.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Maybe you should see a psychologist who could advise you and help you gain more confidence?

To me it wasn't enjoyable until I reached senior high. Those few years were a lot of fun, me and a few of my friends were reckless and not a care in the world. Come to think of it, those years are actually the happiest time of my life.

I don't have any nearby psychologist I would be able to think of going to at the moment. I always had problems with people since I was born and making friends at school was just total debacle. I think that it could have been the wrong people or it could have been bad luck. All four years of high school was just not fun at all for me. Even with the Disneyland senior year trip I was with my group and after one of the rides we were on I was trying to find them. I looked around and realized that they left me behind and I was all alone again. It made me feel upset and depressed and I did not know why it happened.

I see, it seems like finding work is quite hard from where you live. How about asking some help from your relatives? I'm sure they would help you unless you're also having issues with them.

My high school experience was just a typical high school experience. I did well in school and I had a good group of friends, but it was still high school. Waking up early sucked and the massive amounts of homework sucked even more.
