We admire confidence, especially when it comes to car design. So we tip our hats to Lexus, which has gone all-in with the grille. Controversial though it may be, the brand’s “spindle grille” doesn’t seem to have turned off enough buyers to prevent it from spreading—literally—across all members of the Lexus lineup. Now it has reached the innocuous ES midsize sedan. READ MORE ››

I usually don't like Lexus cars, their trucks are ok though.

I don't mind their cars too much but this one is too bland. It is way to plain for me. It reminds me too much of the Camry.

An ex-boyfriend of mine told me that-that is what Lexuses basically are, Toyotas.
(??what's the plural of Lexus? I googled it and got more confused than ever... anyhow...)

Isn't that correct, that they're basically the same car? I've always thought that because of his comment years ago to me about them. I've never really looked into it.
The Lexus, I don't know, it just bugs me for some reason. My dad has one, and I guess he likes it.

I've seen some nice ones I guess, but I wouldn't buy one. Years ago I was at a car lot and came thisclose to buying a Lexus, but changed my mind and left the lot because I knew in my heart that it wasn't a car I really wanted.

They are, at least some of the models are. But they shouldn't look like it. If I wanted a Camry, I wouldn't buy a Lexus.

It is way to similar. Most things are slightly different but not different enough for me. The interior looks more upscale but it is lacking outside.
