Hey everyone I hope your Tuesday's going well. We just got a bunch of rebate submission photos of a precut headlight kit installed on a 2002 Mini so, naturally, I did a blog post and threw them up on YouTube. If you take a look you'll see our customer (who now has tinted headlights and received a $20 rebate refund on his purchase) hand-trimmed the headlight tints because they are normally designed to cover the entire light. Not my cup of tea but he did a nice job. So, check it out and let us know what you think.

Where did they trim it? Does it normally cover the chrome trim? Is that chrome trim under the light lens or is that on the outside? I would have to see one without being trimmed but that one looks good to me. I really like it.

    James,

Thanks for the complement. The headlight kit usually covers the "glass" of the lens. Looks like this customer modified it to give it a custom look by bisecting it.
