Well it came time to replace the Mazda Tribute. I decided to start looking for my Jeep. Some how my wife ended up looking for something newer for herself. I should have read the fine print when I married her. LOL.

For now the only things on my list of things to do are...

    1. Buff the scratches that are on it. She wants those done yesterday.
    2. I want to paint the front brake calipers and rear drums. She has the factory upgraded 16" alloys on it so you can see the brakes. And the rust look isn't working for me.
    3. The car also needs some Gearhead Central decals. That should be at the top of the list.
I will post pictures later. I'm wore out. Working long hours and it has been hot for the last couple of weeks.

Here is a picture of my wife's new to her car. She has been wanting those scratches out so I removed almost all of them today and put a coat of Meguiars Gold Class wax.

You should look into "plasti-dipping" the wheels, i like plasti-dip best because if you don't like it, you can simply peel it off! you should look into it

Not sure if Lisa would go for that. How durable is it if it can be pealed off? Whats the cost like?

Its Super Durable, There Is A Ton Of Videos On YouTube Showing The durability Of It. As For Cost, Its Only 12/Can 3 Cans Should Do All The Wheels, With Some To Spare For Emblems If You Wanted.

A pretty safe car and it has a very high safety rating on the road, I really appreciate these kind of vehicles this company makes, they tend to try to make their vehicles very dorable but at the same time have a nice feel to them.

Well it is time to take the winter wheels off for my wife (@Lisa). I have been wanting to paint the brakes so I bought some VHT brake caliper paint. DSC_1274 (Medium).JPG

I sanded and scraped off the loose rust and then cleaned off any oil and dust. Then I taped off anything I didn't want to paint.

My little princess wanted to help daddy put the wheels on.

She is strong and a great helper.

The summer tires were brand new when we bought the car so they still look great.

Then we had to go to Easter dinner at moms. When I got back I washed the car for her. That is when I noticed that someone scratched the passenger door with a door. So now I will have to buff that out for her. Till then it will drive me nuts. If I get home from the gym in time tomorrow I might have to do it then. The car still needs the interior detailed. Maybe that will get done next weekend.

Nice car mate, it has a lot of potential too. Is it just me or does it ride really high up?

Thanks. It does seem to sit high. In a way I'm tempted to lower it. But then in a way I can't be bothered. LOL. I do want to tint the windows for @Lisa. I want to do it for looks and for comfort. I also want to put in satellite radio. I don't want to do do much because I can see me wanting to get a different car for her sooner or later.

Took some time and scrubbed and extracted the seats and floor in the car yesterday. Got some stains out of the seats that the kids put in.
