I know what you mean about cats and their strange eating habits. I have my cat and my neighbor's cat hangs around me too. I feed them both in the morning since my neighbor works early in the morning so I take over the feeding chore. They both get fresh cooked fish and sometime they have the nerve to be picky about the tempeature their fish is when they eat it. If it is too cold or too hot they won't eat it. I leave it in their bowls and eventually they eat. :cat:

I own a dog. Well, it is not necessarily my own dog because my sister owns it. Now and then the dog will stay over mine. It's a cocker spaniel and a beautiful one too. Yeah, I love dogs. I also like cats but I've never owned or looked after one so I really can't say how easy they are to maintain/look after.

Yes, right now my family owns four cats and a puppy. The puppy is a black lab combined with something else (we're thinking the other parent may have been a pitbull), and he loves chewing on feet (mine in particular, ha ha.) As for the cats, I'm not really sure what breeds they are. We have two long-haired ones, and two older (around 9 or 10 years old) short-haired cats. Our two older cats have been with us the longest, most of our cats seem to randomly disappear at some point or another, but those two haven't.

I don't have pets, because I'm not really a pet person. But, if I were to have a pet, I'd have a cat, because they are simpler to manage, don't grow too much and maintain themselves. I don't like the prospect of having cat hair all over my clothes though. :p

Dogs are the best. I have a little chihuahua. Her and my little one are like Tom and Jerry. Sometimes I think dogs understand us better than we understand ourselves. She helps me out a lot when I'm stressed and distracted too by calling my attention to things.

I think the more mellow dog breeds can sense our emotions and they act accordingly. But I doubt if a dog that's as hyper as a Jack Russell Terrier can distinguish our emotions whether we are happy or sad. My dog seems to be hyper no matter what mood I am in.

I got 2 Rottweilers named Dozer and Izzy. One Shih Tzu named Datdat.

I used to have a cat named Fatlip, but unfortunately she passed away a year ago.

I am thinking of owning a Chinchilla but its quite expensive and I dont know if they are legal in my country. Ill research more on it.

I too love dogs and cats. I have always had a dog since I was a child. However it wasn't until I got out on my own that I got into cats. My mother was not a cat lover by any means. She had some beautiful flower gardens and a vegetable garden that the cats in the neighborhood loved to use as their toilet. Cats are really cool animals "to have". Notice I said have and not to own. Over the years I discovered people do not own cats, cats own people. Unlike dogs that are dependent on their owners cats ate virtually independent which is what I really like about them. In addition to that she is very affectionate much like a dog and that I like.:)

No I do not have any pets. I once had a cat and it was doing me more harm than good. It ate all the food that we left uncovered and it also bit me twice. It bit me both times because I had accidentally stepped on its tail. I think that some pets can be very bad if the want to. I have always wanted a dog. I think it would be fun to have a pet that gets to know how to do various tricks very fast. My cat could not do any tricks, it only played with its tail and slept for almost twenty three and a half hours each day.

I think I am done with pets. I will soon buy a gold fish and see how it is like to own one. They do not eat a lot and they do not make a lot of noise in the house. All the need is water and negligible amounts of food.

I own a dog and it's a Scottish Terrier. I like cats but I used to own one and I remember it used to attack me for no reason, and they are very picky when they eat.

I haven't owned pets in a long time. When I was growing up though, I had a Pickenese dog which I loved dearly. But we have to give him up because when we moved when I was 6 we moved to a building that didn't allow dogs. Then after that in the next 3 years we had two cats. One, my mom gave away because he refused to be house trained. The other eventually died of old age. When I got my own place, I got a fish tank which I still own with some cool fish in it. I learned early on though you can't just buy any species of fish and put them in the tank together. Some fish don't get along with other fish. Just like people I guess!undefined

We have had fishes as pets before and they were different species too, but they seem to get along fine. What breeds did not get along well and what did they do to each other?

Yeah, three cats, in fact. It's great to have them around and they're all quite cuddly (expect one, at least).

Yeah I do , I'm a dog person and I really hate cats a lot. I myself own two dogs , a Labrador and a golden retriever. They are both well trained dogs and are both 2 years old and I love them both.
