Yeah I know videos can be edited, so I only believe what David Icke says, and he says that the royal family is one of the reptilian species. Wait, what species do we have on Earth anyway? I suppose they're the reptilian-humanoid ones right? Because they shapeshift.

I meant reptilian in the most basic definition of the word: of, or relating to reptiles. I didn't mean reptilian people, I meant reptiles. I've never actually met anyone who believes what David Icke talks about, so I'm curious. Why do you believe what he says?

To my knowledge, he was a normal, boring sports presenter on British TV who suddenly went through this enormous nervous breakdown and appeared on chatshows in purple shell suits, proclaiming himself the son of God, and claiming the power elite are all secretly seven foot reptiles. The burden of proof is on him.

I was an avid reader and used to love few genres like Self - Help, Managment and Fiction. However, I have kind of lost touch. I am now reading maybe 1 book a year and just 5 years back it was 2 books every month. I need to change that is for sure.

Well, things about ghosts and life after death :) I like to read about haunted places and the stories from some people who have been there. I really like a web site named ''grave addiction'', it contains a lot interesting pictures and stories!

As for reptilian species... well, you never know! ;) Not because I haven't seen it means it doesn't exist!

Well it was mentioned in the Revelation chapter in the Bible that there will be people who are gonna rule the world and the anti-Christ will be the leader, and so far what David Icke has been saying is consistent with all those Illuminati conspiracy theories. And since Katy Perry is an Illuminati puppet, her song ET hints of those reptilian species in the line which goes, "different DNA, they don't understand you". Since I believe in aliens, then reptilians aren't really far-fetched.

Ah, I see, we like reading the same things, but I'm more on conspiracy theories now. Try sfogs.com I used to read the ghost stories in that site.

Those reptilians seem real to me, I think they're very advanced aliens who can shape-shift.

Yeah, I'm going to need a credible citation for all of that. That sounds absolutely insane. I suppose we probably shouldn't derail this thread, though.

Well anything is possible though, after all there are many alien sightings that have been in the news.. Anyway, if you have time try to watch some Youtube videos on that topic.

I'm with Sidney here... I also believe everything is possible, I mean... who says there isn't a chance aliens are living among us? Maybe those reptilians are aliens too.

There's a difference between claiming something is possible and claiming that something is real. I'll agree that it's possible, but it's a stretch to say that they actually do exist since there's zero evidence.

I'm not claiming they are real, Rob, I clearly said there is a chance something like this is possible ;) I'm not a believer to be honest, I'm actually skeptic, but t the same time I realize our universe is huge and it would be highly unlikely we are completely alone.

Good for you, Gelsemium :) I's good you keep an open mind, not many people can say the same. I also have an open mind, but with reservations.

Well, I haven't read too many books lately but I do read a lot on the internet. For example I usually read news and sports articles and there are tons of other information on web.

I do read a decent amount. Nearly all of it is nonfiction though. Most are technical, mechanical, or financial in nature. Occasionally I read books about history (particularly World War II) for fun though.

Well you know the saying, "where there's smoke, there's fire"? I believe in that, so if someone claims something to be true, like with the case of ghosts and aliens, there are lots of people who swore that they saw it, then I will think that it may be true even without sufficient evidence as long as they're sane. You can't deny the number of people claiming to see the same thing. I even saw a UFO once when I was 12, and the next day it was in our local news.

It's such a huge universe Trellum, anything is possible and there's always so much talking that it's hard to believe that everything is false...

That's true, that's the first thing I mention every time someone claims we are alone, I doubt it given the fact our universe is huuuge. I believe there are a couple truths hidden from all those rumors we hear.

I know what you meant. I was pointing out that while you claim that it is possible that they exist, you also said that you agree with what Sidney said. She posted that she believes that they exist, which is a little more than just claiming that there is a possibility of existence.

This is exactly how myths are started. Someone claims to have seen Bigfoot and then all of a sudden there are people believing them without sufficient evidence. I will fully admit that it's possible for all of this to exist, but there's no reason to set aside the scientific method for anecdotal evidence.

I was watching this afternoon the movie "The day the earth stopped" with Keanu Reeves, it covers this topic alright, rather interesting movie.
