The police cars in Dubai are just insane, I mean, it leaves you wondering if they really do any policing in that town, lol or just driving around in 'em Ferraris, Lamborghini, SLSs and the like.

Yeah you would enjoy your ride for 5 minutes alright, but not when your hands will be chopped off because you stole. They also have really tough laws in the country.

Although they take it to an extreme, Dubai really does need high performance police cars. There are so many exotic cars over there, if they used the usual ten year old Fords that they use in the US, no one would get pulled over because everyone would be able to break pursuit.

I don't know why they bother with cars like that except that they have money to burn. I've been to Dubai and every car there is sold with an alarm that goes off when you drive above the speed limit. So most drivers respect the speed limit with the exceptions of those who had the alarms removed... from cars that look exactly like the ones pictured. And I very much doubt that those drivers are ever bothered by the Dubai police force.

That's barbaric, but yeah I remember that Sadam was beheaded in this day and age of lethal injection. I guess you can just be content with taking a pic of yourself standing next to the car then, lol.

A little to over the top if you ask me. Yeah it looks nice but is it beneficial? Or is it just Dubai showing off how extravagant they are with their money.

That's nuts but if they the money for it why not right? The nicest police cars I have seen around Toronto are the OPP SUV's, Chevy Tahoe's I believe. I'm not so much of a fan of SUV's but I must say, they are pretty nice.

Is that really a police car or a racing car? Even the police officers standing next to the car looks like they are suited up in racing car driver's gear. Pretty cool, If I must add.

Sounds like a dream job to be honest, getting to drive around in a spotless brand new supercar all day long. The police force here get vauxhall astras and insignias, if if your lucky you get a nissan leaf electric car!

The only police supercar that I'm aware of in the US is LAPD's Lamborghini Gallardo. It was a donation, but it is only used for charity events. It will never be used in an actual police chase.

Ha ha, I am not surprised at all. Dubai is a very wealthy country and the police needs to be equipped well!

What else do you expect from one of the richest countries in the world. I would only be worried about this stuff when it comes to police shase as they are rather dangerous and so these expensive cars are essentially exposed to some serious danger. That would affect me a lot if i was the one driving one of these cars and i would not be sure that i would chase a criminal well.

Wow, I would love to ride in one of those. Minus the jail part.

I know here in the United States I've never seen an exotic police car, only Crown Vics and the occasional Camaro. A Sheriff's office near me has a Corvette z06 that they seized from a drug dealer and turned into an unmarked patrol car. I've actually seen it before at an exhibition and it was one of the sickest things I've ever seen.

That's Dubai for you. It seems like every time I hear about Dubai it always has something to do with some really expensive purchase. I love the cars but I think that they should be spending all that money else where.

Is crime in Dubai really that bad? Do the criminals really have cars that a Camaro SS couldn't catch? I doubt it. They buy them because they can. It must be nice to be so rich that you don't have to do practical things anymore.
