Has anyone here ever been go karting before and did you enjoy it?

I went for my first karting day only a year ago now and jumped straight intothe deep end with a twin engine 400cc kart. Somewhat powerful as a first timer but I loved it despite the track being very bumpy which badly bruised my back. I finished in 6th place out of 12 and at one point I was in 3rd place.

Congratulations on being in 6th place as a first timer. I have only seen the sport on TV but it was once popular here, only in a different way. Guys would model their rides from wood and other material and they would have regular events that people paid to see.
