Would any have experience or other details about the Kia Soul line? We're still looking for a new vehicle for the Mrs and we're now leaning more towards a station wagon style vehicle. My older brother has a Kia and likes it a lot, but I am not real familiar with the model.

    Thanks much.

A guy a work seems to love his. I haven't drove one myself. Kia seems to have come a long way in the last 10 years.

My brother in law has had a Rio that was a nightmare. But you can get that with any car brand. The 10 year/100000 mile warranty is nice. If you get them, I would see if you can get a deal on one with the push to start. My wife has it in her Corolla and it is a nice feature. You can keep the fob in your pocket and open the doors and start the car.

I just noticed that JD Power has it rated high in initial quality. Like I said, the guy at work who has one is happy with his. It would be worth a look and a test drive to see what you guys think.

I talked ti the guy at work that owns a Soul. He has a 2011. I asked him what he thinks of it and he said he loves it. He wouldn't change a thing on it. The only thing about it that bothers him is the maintenance scheduled. He just didn't like the way it was set up. I didn't have time to find out more on what about that he didn't like but I might look it up later to see how it differs from some other vesicles.

Have you test drove one yet?

Thanks for the notes, etc. We haven't had a chance to test drive one yet, though we've looked at a couple in person. It might fit the bill.

Well, after test driving a bunch of Kias and some other vehicles, we settled on a low-mileage, 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. It is a 3.2L V6, 4WD. My wife likes it quite a bit thus far. It works well enough to transport two kiddos and assorted junk. The 4WD capability is nice to have in this rural area.

Nice. Congrats. I have heard some people say they really like them. Your wife likes it, what is your opinion of it?

I actually like it quite a bit. It has a good amount of pep and it handles well. As it is the Mrs' car, the focus was mainly on her daily routine, but still I dig the vehicle and have enjoyed driving it.

Good to hear. I have the 3.6L version of that engine in my Wrangler and I'm happy with it.
