Welcome to the World of Wheels Home Page

The 16th annual Peachland World of Wheels (WOW) Show and Shine will be held on Sunday May 19, 2013 on Beach Avenue in beautiful Peachland, British Columbia.
More than 550 cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique boats attended the 2012 show and shine and the show organizing committee is anticipating a similar level of attendance in 2013. Participants regularly attend from the entire Okanagan Valley (from Osoyoos in the south Okanagan to Vernon/Armstrong/Enderby in the North Okanagan and all communities in between). Participants also attend from Alberta, the Fraser Valley and Vancouver area and from Washington State. Many of the participants come back year after year to attend this show and the WOW organizing committee welcomes all existing and new participants to attend the 2013 show.
The car show runs from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. On show day vehicles line up on both sides of Beach Avenue for about two kilometers and also set up in neighboring Cousins Park. Beach Avenue, in turn, follows the shoreline of Okanagan Lake and this venue provides a picturesque setting for the day’s events. We invite all participants and visitors to the show to park your car for the day and enjoy the car show, the local restaurants, the shops, the show sponsors’ and vendors’ displays and the community amenities along the shores of the Okanagan Lake.
The show and shine is organized by a small group of dedicated volunteers (car guys and gals) who work throughout the year to put on this show. A larger group of volunteers helps out on the show date to ensure a pleasant experience for participants as well as for those folks who want to look at all makes and models of vehicles from the past. These volunteers are crucial to the success of this show.
The show would also not be possible without the support of our dedicated sponsors (see our sponsor page) as well as staff and officials from the District of Peachland, the RCMP and the Peachland Fire and Rescue Service.
The show and shine attracts more than 10,000 visitors annually and the organizing committee looks forward to the 10,000 plus visitors who will attend in 2013.
We hope to see you there.
