I was doing 5 days a week but with my night volunteering at the fire department it cuts into that so I try to go four times a week. I try to keep my weekends free for the kids so I don't go on weekends.

To make it easier I go right from work. Most days I work for 10 hours then drive 5 minutes to the gym and work out before I get tired. If I want to long before going it makes it harder to go.

I do mostly weights but need to start adding in some cardio. I need to do that because I want to become a career firefighter and if a posting comes up I would have to do a fitness test so I need to be more then just strong and fit.

How is it going now? I haven't done much since I was on vacation. I have to get back into it this week coming up. Going to try running again. I don't enjoy it like I did when I was a kid. I do enjoy lifting weights, the running, not so much.

Lisa and the kids bought me some fivefingers for fathers day so I will try running in these.

I decided to test the shoes out today. I ran 2.23 miles tonight. Well it was my first run in over 6 months so its was a run/walk/sprint kind of deal. This run was much longer then my last run I had so I'm impressed. Have been been just hitting the weights so I didn't have high expectations with this run.

Friday I went to the gym, did bi's/tri's and also did a leg workout. On the way back from the gym I stopped at Citadel Hill and did hill sprints as well a short run along the base of the hill. Worked my legs good.

Theses Are rather trippy looking that's for sure but I hear that you get a more natural feel when your walking and running:)

I work out daily. How long, and what kind of workout, depends wholly on what kind of mood I am in.

The heat and lack of sleep has made it rough on me this past week. I had to take some time off at the gym. I'm hoping to get back at it hard this week.

I do not work out currently. I work from home, and have three kiddos, so there's just no time. I workout if you include washing dishes, doing laundry, vacuuming, and all that. :)

Does walking count as working out? Haha. I walk around my apartment complex neighborhood all the time. Its a nice and safe place to walk. Mostly older folks, so there is not much noise. Outside of that.... I do not do much working out. Other than playing with my shake weight from time to time.

I try to work out 2 or 3 days a week. Nothing major, just some cardio, maybe a an hour on the eliptical. It's tough with work and family to find the time, but I'm not getting any younger and my beer gut isn't getting any smaller.

You just need to be creative and if there is another parent they need to work together. I go to the gym on the way home, then my wife goes when I get home.

Well I was working out. I had to stop for different reasons but I will hopefully get back into it soon. Apparently my employer is soon going to get corporateaccess to the Canada Games center. So I'm waiting for that.

It's just me, so I probably need to start doing some home workouts in order to maximize the gut suppression.

Yeah that makes it tough. You can do a lot at home. And a big thing is changing your eating habits.

I haven't in a long, long time but I am starting the TapoutXT workout tomorrow. I downloaded it and am trying to burn the videos tonight so I can go in the other room where my wife can't see me looking like a sweaty, awful mess.
