Happened to me too, this kind of driving is very common in my country. Can't help but feel that some people don't deserve to get a driver's license. Some drivers just don't have the courtesy to realize their faults.

lol, this is common sense I think!

How many times women are doing poor driving, I honk them or complain and they still do a bad face like if I was the one doing something wrong, it's amazing...

Women to me have consistently appeared to have been the worst drivers in all my encounters. I am not sexist but i think that most women are not so great at driving. I think that it has to do with them not really paying attention to the task at hand.

I think it has to do with the fact women are more likely then men to text while driving and put on makeup while driving and that is just not safe at all. I'm glad that in California they have a no phone unless its handsfree law but so many people break it. It definitely helped although.

Don't know about that, I think despite they might be putting make up on or texting, even when they are not doing disrupting tasks (that even men do) they are really nervous and don't realize distances correctly maybe, I really can't get into a women's head... It's impossible!

Oh yeah, about lady drivers, most men, across the globe, across countries believe that we need to beware. But then it is also interesting since science says that the two hemispheres of the brain is well connected in ladies, because of which they could make good managers as compared to men.

However, driving is one area where men do not have to worry too much! :)

Right now I think that we drive differently. Men drive because they like it, they/we dream about driving from our early age while women drive because they have to, or they want to show that just like us, they can drive. There are exceptions and women that like to drive and usually, those drive good. The ones I know that drive because they need to, drive somehow distracted, lazy... Examples are bad shifting or simply taking second gear to 5000 rpm just because they know they'll have to stop soon and not worth it to shift in third gear, stopping in a red light and leaving the car in second gear, creating a big delay whenever they have to start going again, such things. It's about whether they want or not to drive and like or not to drive. Most men like to do it, most women like to be driven and would love to have a personal driver. :p

I forgot to mention that they don't care about how the car responds to certain situations and such. My mom once thought that if you pull the handbrake the car would stop immediately and flip and similar things. :p

I know that when I first started driving I was kind of reckless. This wasn't really on purpose but because of lack of experience. I didn't have anyone who let me practice driving or taught me when I was growing up. I pretty much was able to take the test and pass but still had a lot of learning to do. I can definitely see I difference in the way I drive now compared to then.

I totally review myself in your words Kelly, when I started to drive reckless was the word for what I did. I was driving too fast and I didn't measure the danger and to predict the unpredictable that I think with experience it's a sense we grow in us. I think it's something it comes with time only.

There are stupid drivers both men and women, so there really isn't an answer. There are good drivers and bad drivers both men and women.

I think it is a myth. It really depends on how women learned how to drive, but it's not good to be generalizing. At times, as well, it's based on the fact that women have less opportunities to practice driving because men drives for them. So really, if women happen to be worse drivers, it is only because of lack of practice. But then again, I think there are also lots of men out there who are not so good at driving as well.

I am not really sure. I like to make jokes about it with friends but I have seen A LOT of bad male drivers. And yea I do think women drive more cautiously but that is just their way of driving. Some people like to go fast and others don't. Not that either way is wrong or right because both a fast driver can cause an accident just like a slow driver.

I believe that there's more women who are bad driving than man, but let's not generalize. I know a couple of women who drive way better than me! :p

No doubt, I hate generalizations too, this is just up for debate. Maybe my mind already see women as worse drivers and I might be even worse than them. :)

I would say a bad driver is a bad driver. Gender is pretty irrelevant. I have seen drivers from both genders be really reckless on the road and it is worrisome for me. I don't want to get wiped out on the road because someone is driving around without a clue!

I think it is equal. There are some men who drive horrible and some women who drive horrible. To me, it just depends on the person. Both genders can be reckless and both can be cautious.

I wouldn't agree that women are the worse drivers on the road. From what I have observed, men do more crazy things on the road than women. For the most part, I think women are just being careful, driving slower than men and trying to avoid an accident. I also think they could be feeling a bit of intimidation from the men too because I have witnessed them disrespecting women with a lot of profanity and gestures.
