Hey guys, any sports suggestion for a lazy person? I mean lazy person who doesn’t want to do so much movements like climbing, jogging or running? I encountered this question a while ago and it sounds really nonsense but at the same time challenging.

Well I have one opinion already, if chess is considered as sports I think this can be suggested or not?

    Any other idea probably?

I wouldn't call chess a sport. Most consider sports to be something physical. So sports and couch potatoes do not go together other then watching it on tv.

I guess that combining both could happen, to a certain extent of course. It wouldn't cost the person much to simply stand up and do a couple of crouches, or several push-ups and then sit back in the couch and continue watching television. If that is repeated several times per day (it doesn't take much time, a minute at the most!), perhaps it could turn out very good for the potato and they could start enjoying sports even more and more. It's all about motivation!

I respect your opinion there but Isn't sports is being associated as well with mind skills? And speakingof physical to do concern, fingers work hard as well to move those chess pieces LOL!

I really like the fighting spirit there! Yeah, that sounds an excellent alternative for potatoes and additional to do that, you can actually grab a pair of dumbbells while watching your favorate shows as well. Hmmm, our potatoes will be happy for this!

I don't like sports, but I like to walk insanely, in fact my record is 12 hours non-stopping walking.

I think this could be considered a sport and even being lazy, walking is something that you have to do sometime through the day.

I agree a sport is a physical activity maybe you should start with the most simple one there: running it an excellent exercise. If not pool is a nice sport, darts, gym training, and ping-pong all are interesting and fun to play.

I agree with the suggestion of walking or running. It's a really good way to start off. Or you can do some light couch exercises, some leg lifts, squats, lift some light free weights, etc.

I know you said couch potato but I think everyone likes to be in the water. Why not try swimming. You could be exercising and at the same time having fun. Swimming gets the whole body worked up and when your done you feel rejuvenated. Then you could relax in your favorite seat and maybe catch a nap.
