But what if it was 40 or 50 years from now assuming you are only 20 years old? Would you still dread the info?

How old is he anyway? And what is your grandpa's zodiac sign? If those 2 people get away with stealing money from him, then how much does he actually get for himself?

He is 86, as for his zodiac... I need to ask mom! Btw, by aunt turned out to be Taurus, and my sister Leo. My grandma was Pisces as well. As for his money, no idea, but I'm guessing they might be giving him a minimal quantity, well, my sis, because she is the one ''in charge'' now, so she must be taking a huge chunk of his salary.

@jbeavis100, I see, I guess that kind of info is not for everyone.

@Trellum, Ah, that is quite old, he probably doesn't have any illness that's why he got to live that long. Maybe his pension is big? Maybe your grandpa is a Taurus, lol.

No way. I wouldn't be able to get it out of my head once I found out. It would negatively affect my life in so many different ways.

Absolutely not! Why would i want to put myself through that kind of misery? Its like being on death row. Plus its not already determined when one will die (except in prison). Fate is just an imaginary concept.

Well, the perks of knowing when you will die is that you can prepare for it spiritually, but if you're not a spiritual person, then it won't really matter when you will die, because you will probably think that after death, it's totally over and there's no afterlife.

Of course it still matters when I die. Why do you think it wouldn't? Sure, I might not need spiritual preparation, but there are still plenty of other things that I plan on doing.

One of the perks of knowing when you will die is that you can be able to maximize the time that you have left by doing them before your time is up. So a good thing to ponder about is being aware of when you will die as compared to dying suddenly, like in a car accident.

Okay, but that doesn't answer my question. You said that it doesn't matter when atheists die because we don't have to worry about spiritual preparation. I'm arguing that it still matters when I die because, while I don't have to worry about spiritual preparation, there are still plenty of things that I want to do before I die. You might not have meant it that way, but saying that it doesn't matter when someone/a group of people dies is very insulting.

In my opinion, as the hash tag goes, "You Only Live Once". So, whether someone wants to know when and how they will die or not, the most important thing is to live his life to the fullest and with not regrets.

What I meant was the spiritual side doesn't matter to people who don't belong to any religion, but the practical side matters to them. Sorry if you found it insulting, I didn't really mean it that way.

Hahahaha, maybe. I haven't ask my mom yet, but I will soon. So Taurus is the most stingy zodiac of them all then? My grandpa is diabetic, but he has got to live really long, good genes I guess. I'm quite sure I won't live that long, but it's good.

Most of the time, it's Taurus. I actually stumbled upon a gig that predicts the cause and when you will die and, I will order it one of these days. I'm excited to know that kind of info since I'm not afraid of dying.

Wow really? Is it something with the tarot or something done by a psychic? It would be interesting to order a gig like that, don't think I'd ever do it, I'm pretty sure what will cause my death, well, I've two theories, but I really don't like to worry about it.

You'd still be dreading it though! Especially as you get closer and closer to that time.

Course I guess it would give you an incentive to go out and do things you were too afraid to, but what if the ToD isn't a fixed point in time, and is changed by your actions?

Nope. Knowing the exact date and time of my death would be way too frustrating. The best thing about our life is that we don't know when it's going to end, so we can live it to its fullest. For instance, now I'm happy because I have the potential to live for much, much more, but would I be happy if I knew that I have, for example, one week to live. Certainly not! Some things are better kept hidden.

Yes I would want to know. I've been bored with my life pretty much since I've learned that things are seamlessly pointless so I would love to have something that would make me go "Oh damn! I have only 5 years to live! Better make something significant soon!". I secretly wish I had some sort of disease that would kill me sooner so that I can value my life more and I would stop wasting my time. But if I had to choose the way I die, I would love to die in my sleep while dreaming.
