Gotta be a nightmare of mine, I dream I am going way to fast into a bend and then I'm off the road and rolling, I wake up in a cold sweat. I came pretty close to rolling a car one night, driving way too fast down a country lane near where I lived and then found some idiot had put a new bend in the road that wasn't there before;) Jeez, scared the hell out of me. Anyone here actually roll? must be scarey as hell.

I have never rolled a car but I did have friends in high school who all rolled over their trucks at the same exact location near the high school I went to. They built this curve like a speed trap for kids to slow down their vehicles on purpose I believe. I even had a few close calls in my old explorer.

I've never rolled a car, but damn if it ever happens I don't know what I'd do. The whole experience just sounds terrifying, especially if I'm left upside down...
Like how would you get out? Who would ever find you? I think I'm just overthinking haha :p

Never rolled one or have been in a roll, but it sounds like one of the most terrifying things that can happen to you on the road. However, if you survive it injury free, it could also be one of the most exciting things. Except then you'd have to pay for the damage. :p

Rolling a car sounds like your other foot is already in the grave when it happens to you. I personally have not experienced it or know anyone that has experienced it, but it obviously looks like a terrifying and life threatening experience.

As a resident who lives in that area shouldn't you have gotten a notification about upcoming construction on any and all nearby roads, bridges, tunnels, highways, etc?

I never rolled a car and pray that it doesn't happen to me. I've seen or heard of many people who don't get that badly hurt after a wreck like that. Still I'm safety concscious when I'm on the road with my car or bike.

Sometimes it's luck other time physical shape or the make and model, of the car. A good strong car will protect its driver in a crash. By taking on impact the flesh and bone body doesn't have to. Other times, it's about the way and angle at which the car bounces. Other times, it's about how well fit you are. The better shape you're in, the more likely it is you will be able to make it to the hospital and be saved if you're badly injured. If you're in bad shape, your body can't make up for lost time with extreme or semi-serious blood loss.

I came near it once I ended up in a ditch upside down before. That was enough to put fear all up and down my spine.

Well you drivers out there really need to know that speed really does kill, so if you dont have to be there that fast then dont do it.....it is not worth risking your life to save on 5 mins.

I have friend that rolled his car over. He had a ford truck and I remember going with him to an auto body shop to see his truck, and the roof of the truck was almost torn off.
I was glad that he was okay.

I've never even had a fender bender, though my neighbor did roll his Bronco II. It honestly looked like it could still be driven, except the whole thing sat at an angle. Having driven a B-II of my own for a decade, I'd read the reports about those things being rollover-prone, but I'd never seen it myself until that happened. Still, he came out of it without a scratch on him, so it couldn't have been too bad.

Tell that to Justin Bieber. He recently got into trouble with some people in his ritzy upscale neighborhood for speeding. One guy tweeted..."Justin Bieber needs to slow his ass down". Keyshawn Johnson, ex Jets NFL player, actually confronted Bieber when he got back to his crib, about the speeding. Beiber just went into his big house and waited Keyshawn out lol. Hilarious stuff.

He was lucky. Did he have a seat belt on?

Thank God, I have never rolled a car. Awaking from that nightmare must have been a scary one. I pray that nightmare never comes true.

Thankfully I've never rolled a car. I wouldn't mind it in a car with a roll cage, but it would be scary in a car without one.
