I'm not too much of a truck guy but for some reason I really like the Ford Raptor. I see quite of few of them these days and they are growing on me, if I ever were to get an SUV it would be a Raptor.

I have to say I am pretty happy with my ten year old Ford Ranger.
Not at all flashy and pretty basic but I like driving it. It's a five speed
standard. A heck of a lot less $$$ than the Raptor but I am sort of partial to the Raptor too. If we include SUVs I kinda like the Toyota FJ Cruiser.

I like Ford trucks a lot. The F-150 to me just looks awesome and I like the styling of it.

There have been a lot of trucks that I have loved in my years of driving pickups.
My ex was a pretty good mechanic, and he loved putting those big engines and Holly carbs in his trucks, and they would really move out.
I remember racing against a Camaro ( years back ), we were going uphill, on a 4-lane hiway, so we were neck and neck, and neither one of us could get past 110 . I was driving the old 64 Chevy 3/4 ton with a 350 engine in it that we used to haul our horses around in.
We were both hoping that some state trooper didn't show up along side the road, we would have been out of luck. Someone actually caught up with us, and wanted to pass ( I don't remember what they were driving, but it was a powerhouse) , and I had to slow down and pull into the right lane to let them go by.
But it was still a darn good race for an old flatbed truck with a heavy stock rack on it.

Being a Cowgirl, I (of course) love trucks ! I also love minivans, but that is another story.
When I had horses, a truck was simply a necessary part of life. You needed it ever day for something.
I moved to a little trailer out in the country in north Idaho, and went without electricity and water until I could afford to have them put in.
For water, it was almost 2 years , so I had two 55 gallon drums in the back of the little Green Mazda, and that is how I hauled water for the horses, the house, and the tiny garden.
When the snow was coming down hard, I had to drive in and out of the driveway about once or twice an hour to try and keep it clear, since the Mazda wasn't a FWD, and I had to be able to get out to the road to go to work the next morning.

If was a bad storm, I just parked out at the road, and trudged through the snow up the driveway to get in and out, and usually a neighbor with a plow on their FWD would come by and plow out the driveway for me when the snow stopped.

That little Mazda was a great pickup, and it got me where I needed to go for a lot of years . I still miss it....

Wow. Two years without running water? Did you get a well drilled? When the water stops running you start to appreciate how things like running water and electricity make life so much easier.

Toyota Tundra's and Tacomas. Best trucks on the market in my opinion. Too expensive though, I was pricing Tundra's a couple years ago online, 50 something thousand dollars for a new one. All of my friends own and swear by American trucks but they are all falling apart and rotting away.

I like Chevy's honestly, I was grown up around them and liked them every since. Even though I do work on a ford truck from time to time.

Had a s10 lifted 10" and I loved that truck. Even though it was 2wd it could do more than most people would think
