I used to play Monopoly a lot when I was a kid and I played some Scrabble as well, it is fun. You are right in that point, we tend to sit on the couch watching TV and we don't interact as much as we could. Sometimes we play card games with my kids and they love it, despite don't quite understand the game just yet... :)

When I get together with family on Saturdays, we always play Monopoly, Scrabble and Spades.

I love playing spades when I was in high school, we spent hours playing it, it was really addicting. I do miss those times. :)

We love playing games! Our boys enjoy Risk. It takes forever though! We also like Scattergories, Life and Monopoly. Fluxx is a fun card game! We also have the stoner flux version LOL. We have a card game we play with our neighbors that takes about 5 hours... seriously! It's fun though! We have lots and lots of games! My youngest candlyland and puzzles.

When I was growing up, I played all of he usual board games like Monopoly and Chutes and Ladders, and a strange little dice game where we got parts and built a weird little critter called a "Cootie". Actually , building Cooties was one of my favorites when I was young.
As an adult, we played a lot of pinochle, usually two people partners version , played between my husband and I against my MIL and FIL. Those games often lasted into the wee hours of the morning, with the men huffing and puffing,a md making their "shoot the moon" bids, and both of us ladies yawning, and just glad when the game was over, regardless of who ended up winning.
We went through a lot of pots of coffee playing that game.

I liked to play a game that looked a lot like monopoly, it was named ''the tourist''. I started playing it with my sister. I also liked to play cards with my dad, and dominoes with my mom. I loved to play snakes and ladders as a kid as well... those were the times! Too bad most kids nowadays will never get to experience that!

I love playing Monopoly and Uno with my family. Most kids just want to play video games all the time ,but playing board games seems to be a lot more interactive with each other. The game I don't allow in my house or the kids to play is the Ouija board (made by Parker Brothers/Hasbro). I don't consider a board game the way it was portrayed in this commercial.

Huh? do card games and boards still exist?

I know they do, but certainly I have not played a board game and card games for at least the past 6 years or so, but when I liked these games mostly played monopoly.

I never liked the Yu-Gi-Oh cards game, which was the last thing about card games I heard about... No, I'm lying; the very last I heard of was those Zynga social games available on cards.

When it comes to Zynga, whatever thing is valid when it comes to try to take your hard-earned money to give you nuts.

I used to play uno, chess, checkers, payday, candyland, monopoly, life, etc. There are so many and they were so cool back then, now of course you can play them on smartphones and computers but it's just not the same. I still play board games with my kids from time to time.

Uno is great, I haven't played that in a long time. I love Sorry, that was a great boardgame. My favorite boardgame would probably be Risk, as it is really deep and strategic but also very fun to play with other people as long as no one gets too frustrated.

LOL, woah!!!!! They were advertising a Ouija as a board game? !? That's odd! That's definitely not a game, no matter if the person believes or not, that's not something I'd like my kids to get close to anytime soon! Completely crazy they advertised it as a simple game...

Well I don't play those games and I don't even know what they look like. If they are good games, then it means that I may try it one day.

I have played Risk before, I enjoy monopoly, poker, blackjack and chess, although I dont play chess nearly as often as I used to it is still nice to break out the wooden chess board and pieces instead of playing a digital version on the PC, I'd like to get myself a battleship set, I've always like playing battleship. One of the rarer games I used to play in school is to have 'duel's' with Yu-gi-oh cards, that used to be a lot of fun, lol, we all took it so seriously back then.

I played a lot of card games when I was a child, like go fishing and pass around donkey but I can't remember most of the other names. My family and I still play a couple board games when we have the time, although not recently. Some of them are ludo, uno, scrabble and draft. We have a monopoly which for some reason I can't get the sense of the game. I find that it never ends, maybe we are just not playing it right.

When I was a kid I played a lot of board and card games. I remember playing Snake & Ladders which was one of my favorites. I love Monopoly too, my family loved to gather around on Sunday nights for a game, great times! Now that I'm an adult, I've moved to Poker, Big Two, Gin Rummy, and Baccarat. I play them for fun at home.
