    Welcome to GearHead Central Murbiz!

It would be hard to break it down to just one movie. I give myself a headache trying to pick just one movie.

If you put me on the spot right now, and even though there is more then a few in my head right now that would be near the top of my list, I would have to pick "The Toy" by Richard Pryor. I love that moving. Him running on top of the water never gets old. And all the toys that kid has was just unreal when I first watched the movie. I should watch that movie with my kids at some point.

Toss up for me. The Lion King, Avatar or Wall-E.

The Boondock Saints. I am a movie freak so I watch a lot but this one always keeps me coming back for more.

For me, one of the most beautiful and romantic films remains "notebook". If you have not seen it I would recommend it highly! The Power of Love no limit.

    Almost Famous.

It's pretty much the story of Cameron Crowe's early life.

Right now I can only think of my favorite series of movies, the X-Men series.

Ah! I liked more the TV cartoons than the movies, but X-men are great either way.

However my favorite movie of all time is "Beetlejuice," but I also loved John Travolta's "Hairspray" that brought me good memories by it release time, and good memories now recalling those days when I watched it first.

Action: I love the movie Braveheart.
Horror: I love the Evil Dead Series.
    Romance: I love The Notebook.
Comedy: The Hangover part 1 only.
Drama: The Firm (hate Tom Cruise though)

My favorite genre is horror/thriller. I can actually watch anything as long as it not one of those romantic comedies starring Jennifer Aniston LOL

That is so hard. I love so many movies that it would be impossible to pick just one. Though I would have to put Wedding Crashers, Knocked Up, The Hangover and a handful more up there. I will think of more later on, I'm sure of it.

It's hard to pick 1, but I'm still thinking about The Silence of the Lambs. Back in the days I rarely watched movies, in fact it was one of the first movies that I saw (apart from some movies for kids) and it made a big impact on me. I liked the story and it was pretty scary, kept me interested from the beginning until the end.

Ah you liked the cartoons better than the movies? I also liked the cartoon version, the one that was shown back in 1992 - 1997. Anyway, I haven't watched those 2 films that you mentioned, but maybe one day I will rent them.

Not a HUGE movie fan...LOVE movies, well, I always say "I can't wait to see that!" and then 3 years go by and I still haven't watched it! My ADHD brain unfortunately doesn't have the attention span for movies...sometimes not even for commercials?
Anyway, if I had to pick, "CRASH" (The 2004 story of racism/stereotyping etc. in L.A., not the older one about wierdos getting all hot and bothered by car crashes...). This movie is fantastic, really makes you think about lots! You just never know who you're gonna encounter in what situation from day to day? A clever showing of "coincidences" and chance meetings!
Another movie I cannot resist, even if it's halfway over on TV is "THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION"...Another clever film ;)

I've been seeing "The Shawshank Redemption" quite often on other people's favorite movie lists, so it must be a good movie. I think I ought to check it out. I only saw the poster for the movie and it looks very normal, even boring to look at. :roflmao: Maybe this movie is a gem. :p

My favorite of all time has to be the dark knight where Heath ledger played the joker. Everything about that movie was perfect. The characters, music, and plot was just fantastic. Christopher Nolan is a genius.

My all time favorite movie is "TROY"! I am a bit of an ancient history /fable nut and that
is a movie I'll watch every time it airs. It has everything; action, suspense, love, and
history and really great scenery and visual effects. What more could you ask for in a movie?
