A rude awakening :nailbiting: Actually I was suspecting it for a while :roflmao: I mean, I think my guy will stay this way, but I like to dream :inlove: I guess I'm just like this: mature and responsible. He even says I'm too responsible and I definitely need to relax a bit :stop:

Same here, I'm nearly 27 and I have the feeling I haven't accomplished much. Hopely this will change after a few months, I can only hope. Time really flies quickly :( Not so long ago I was just 23, I remember it like it was yesterday... sometimes this whole life feels like a dream :playful:

I'm 29 and have no problems or worries about turning 30 this year. I know some women care about stuff like that but not me, we all have to age unless we are dead and think about all the people who didn't make it to the age you are now but that's just the way I look at things. I do feel old some days and other days I'm outside doing cartwheels!

That's a nice way to see it :) I'm trying not to think a lot about it right now... I have other things to be way more worried about right now. If only that was solved :( Age wouldn't matter at all  It's great you see it the way you do... very positive!

Great way of thinking. I'm impressed that a person your age have such good thoughts on life. I agree that we shouldn't care too much with age, it's only a number the way I see it as long as you're young inside.

So true, unfortunately I've had two people dying close to me recently and I realized how fragile life is, it won't matter how old or how healthy you are. You're turning 30, enjoy it! ;)

So sorry to hear that, capariaca! It's true... life is so fragile. I realized that when I got sick. No matter how healthy we think we are, a disease can strik us anytime :nailbiting: So we should really enjoy life while we can.

I'm 24, which seems to be right around the same age as most of you. I figured that the ages would be somewhere in this range so that is nice. I like these threads because they give you a better idea of the community you are a part of .

Actually most members are around 30 - 49, I was surprised when I found out  I think you are the youngest of the group ;) I'd probably be the second youngest at 26.

I believe age is in the heart. The number is not important. Once age is in your heart, you look what you believe. If you believe you're old you'll look that way but if you believe that you're young, no matter your age, you'll always look young.

I'm with you on that bonyi, except when we are doing sports, then we can be as young in the heart as we want, but the body might not respond... :D

The body will definitely respond @caparica007. You see what you say is what you get. You have to keep saying the right thing that your body is young and it will become. It will comply to your confessions. Try it!

Eehhh, it's a huge motivation though, when I try to run and I feel the overweight, the body does not respond. Maybe it's weight and not age? :)

Close to the dreaded thirty:roflmao::joyful::joyful::hilarious:?? Girl, you are still such a baby.

I'm in my 40's and I love every minute of it, I could just kiss myself all over:hungry::hungry::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:.
I wouldn't go back to my 20's if somebody paid me millions, not unless I could go back with the knowledge about life that I have now. Otherwise, no thank you.

Granted I was a late bloomer, in my teens and 20's, I had a lot of fun, and did a lot of crazy, immature, irresponsible stuff... even on into my 30's.

You're 27?? I didn't even start having sex until I was 26, 27 (although prior to that age I did do all sorts of sexual things:whistling::whistling::D;)).

Don't worry about getting older young mamacita, just take good care of yourself on a daily basis. Stay out of the sun without sunscreen;). Use a fabulous face cream! Exercise!! And relax about things. Have LOTS of sex:thumbsup: (in my case with younger men:D:)). Stay nimble and flexible!! Do some Yoga:wideeye::thumbsup::thumbsup::happy:.

Do I do all of these things?? Well, maybe I do, and maybe I don't, but we're talking about you here. You're the one who's scared to turn 30:nailbiting::nailbiting:!
I'm just giving you some advice, and trust me, it all works. Just call me older cousin/auntie VelvetSongs. I'll be the Jennifer Lopez to your Selena Gomez;).

Its funny you replied to this thread just today, because today I just turned 27, lol! Thanks a lot for the tips and advices :) Sadly the last two years haven't been the best for my health, but I believe things are getting better. Hopefully they will. No longer so afraid of turning 30 :thumbsup: Trying to relax and enjoy each day to the max. Just a few days ago I came back from the Netherlands, how I wish I could have stayed long enough to celebrate my birthday there :sorry::(

You are right, it's good to be the age we are and we should all feel proud of all the experience and wisdom we have gained over the years. How I wish I knew what I know now about life when I was just 21! Ah well, too late to cry over spilled milk :p:D
