Even if it's an experience driver Takedon, something can go wrong, accidents do happen and what do we do in that case? Who's paying for it?

I always let other people drive my car. I don't see a problem in it, as long as they keep it clean and safe.

@Peninha, well maybe you're secretly pissed at someone, or you are aware that someone is annoyed at you but they act like they're your friend..

There's a very small amount of people I let drive my FR-S. My uncle is pretty much the only person, but he's a safe driver and drives a 3000GT so I know he can handle it.

The Taurus? Here's the keys. It's a pretty sturdy car, so I'm not picky. As long as you're not drunk or something, I don't really care. My boyfriend is actually driving it right now since his car needs work.

I'm picky about the Silverado... but only because it means a lot to me. I let family drive it pretty often, but most of my friends have their own cars, so they don't need one of mine.

LOL. that would be even worse, not knowing who how friends are. I think most of us know in who we can trust, especially something as valuable as our car.

Well, yeah, but there are a lot of fake people in this world too, so you can never really tell if someone is truly genuine towards you or not, in my case, at least. So it would be better to just trust no one to drive your car.

I let no one drive my car at all, I simply dont trust anyone else to drive it. Plus the fact I wouldnt risk anyone else driving it uninsured.

I am very choosy to who drives my car. I do not like just anyone to drive my car. If I have experienced your driving skills, then I might give you my car. Sometimes it is better if the car gets spoiled when am driving it rather than another person using it.

I will let someone drive my car if they can afford to replace if they get in an accident. If you don't have a job or an income then your not driving. I have only let my mother in law drive when her car was down and my boyfriend when he sold his. Other than that probably not.

Yeah, I agree with all of you, I think it would be more acceptable if the blame was on us as compared to blaming other people. At least we won't resent ourselves if we happen to damage the car!

I don't go that far, but it's something very expensive, so I reserve it for close friends and family in occasions of special need because the car is not something very common, at least I am not accustomed to it.

I have lent my car to some of my best friends in the past, but they pay for fuel and any unexpected expenses. Unexpected expenses being fines, repair costs if they do something to my car and so on.

Of course I don't give my car to every friend, just the closest bunch, who I can trust completely.

I will only let people I trust drive my truck. Vehicles are expensive so you better make sure that who ever drives your car will take good care of it. Even when I lend my truck to people I trust I still worry that something will happen to it. I always imagine the worst happening.

@Kazix, They also pay for the repair costs? I hope they did not damage it and the parts just conked out on their own! I think borrowing a car and not gassing it up would be just plain thick, lol.

@FosterTXT, I so agree with you, after all, when you aren't driving, the car's safety isn't in your hands anymore.

NO considering I have no money to replace my car if something happened to it. I am recently divorced and I don't have the money I use to have. If anything happens to my car I am going to be walking. If something does happen to my car I want to be the one to do it.

Well said, i take it like this, if you can't respect and care for the little i have now, how much more when i get that car, even the Bible states, to whom much is given, much more will be required...prove yourself worthy then the car keys will be handed over ;)
