Didn't really looked like the jet won, unless it did, but the camera just wanted to show just the Lamborghini up ahead of the jet. That is one powerful Lamborghini. I remember the car being featured in the Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.

Definitely fast...both of them! They could have done a bit different on the cameras but I imagine they had to adhere to strict rulings!

Yep, when I watched the video I noticed some of the camera angles really did not show off the car like I would have having done pro video professionally.

This is a crazy cool video. I love lambos, but if I could pick one I'd love to have my own jet. Could you imagine I'd pretend I was like the jetsons.

I think the car won. But it's hard to tell without the official results.

Actually I would like to own BOTH! The car would be a dream come true while the plane would be quick transportation to go see my daughter in the states since I live in Southeast Asia. :)

Wonder what the gas mileage on both the car and the plane is.

All I know is I am really happy I don't have to pay the fuel bill for either the plane or the car. Then too there is the maintenance cost for both which after that run probably astronomical. :)

Fuel Capacity: 7,000 pounds internal (3,175 kilograms); typical capacity, 12,000 pounds with two external tanks (5443 kilograms)

Range: More than 2,002 miles ferry range (1,740 nautical miles)

Even without my calculator handy I will say...

    f-16 Not too much!
    car Much better!

You don't want to know how much it costs to fill up an F-16!

That's one mean car but I think the jet was dogging it. When they take off quickly there is a much longer flame trail and they can go vertical immediately after takeoff if they hit the afterburners.

Still, yes please, that car was solid at top speed on a wet surface.

The Lambo was in the lead but did lose. Sweet ride. Only thing I don't like is the lack of a stick.

I too was in the military and have observed F-16's take off and you are right. I think the jet didn't go full afterburner. Had he done so he would have left the car, fast as it is, in the dust I think.

I just saw an Aventador while I was in downtown Chicago. Don't know why you would drive one of those in the city. Cars like that are made for the open road, not traffic lights.

You got that right! In fact driving a car like that only around the city with all of the stop and go in a short time can and will ruin its engine. All that carbon build up from city driving will soon destroy the engine of a car like that. It was made to RUN!

Well, assuming that there is less traffic in the provinces, then maybe that car is meant to be driven in the rural areas especially during the off peak hours like midnight? :D

Granted the car was made for speed however if one was of a mind to drive with some care in normal traffic and keep the speed within the limit it would really be a "head turner"! Or not, due to the head turning factor of the other drivers on the road when you went by in your "Aventador" could actually cause an accident due to all of the head turning it creates.:whistling:

Yeah I agree, expensive cars are always certain to be headturners, but it can also be liable to be targeted by muggers as well. By the way, you posted quite a lot of duplicate posts over there! 8 times man! :D
