What's the Best Car You ever Owned??

Being a complete and utter petrol head, one without a lot of money (or sense for that), the best car I ever owned was a BMW 535M, Cobalt Blue with matching Blue Recaro leather sports interior, switchable Auto box, Man, I drove that thing all the way to Spain from the UK non-stop and got out the other end like I had just popped down the shops for a loaf of bread. Got rid of it through worrying that something might go on it and cost a fortune.
Reckon I have owned somewhere between 50 to 100 cars in my time.
Whats the best car you ever had?

 

Best car for me was my old MK3 Toyota Supra turbo, would cost far too much to keep on the road these days unfortunately thanks to it averaging around 22mpg but around 7 years ago when fuel prices werent so high it was fine. The thing held on well enough in the twisty stuff to a point and then the back end would just snap out and you had to be on your toes to catch it. Driven sensibly though it was a very comfortable car to drive and had bucket loads of power. The only real problems I had with it was that it seemed to go through brake pads pretty quickly, although that might have been the fault of the driver..

 

Wow 50 to 100 cars. I think I have had maybe ten cars/trucks and four motorcycles.
And I am not a young guy. Someone goes through a lot of cars. A lot more than I do. I generally keep em for as long as I can, for the most part. Unless there is reason not to, like the focus I had.
For cars the best is probably my 280 ZX which I got used and had for almost seven years.
Next in line would probably be my Ranger truck, which is now 10. Dependable and few problems
and I like driving it. Five speed manual, crank windows but has a cd player and the air still works which sort of surprises me. If I still like it after having it for ten years it has gotta rank high on the list.

The best car I have ever owned was my Honda Prelude 1997... I'm a big Honda fan and I've always loved Preludes such a beautiful car with great power!!

 

Hi Ryder 13, Amongst my motors I also had a 280zx! Around 30 years ago, I also really liked that car, has to be in my top 10 of the cars I've had. I use to love the onboard "computer" lol
Other Nissan / Datsuns I have owned was a 180b bluebird, a Nissan Violet!! '(was going through a gotta be sensible phase) a Nissan Cherry estate, a 160j sss coupe (great fun) a bluebird hatchback and two Nissan Silvia's one of which my wife, bless her, managed to write off on the M25 the day of my Fathers funeral, not a good day!
One day I think I will try and compile a list of all the cars I've ever owned, see if I can remember : )

 

Best car I ever owned, I would say was a chrysler sebring 1996. My uncle gave it to me when I was 17, but didn't have it for long, maybe about a couple of years, cause of car troubles. It was all black and just looked awesome.

 

The best car I have ever owned is a bmw m6 coupe. Metallic black with 22 inch rims. I'm not a petrol head like some of you users and I don't mind paying for the gas when am driving this car. I feel so relaxed and free when am driving the car and all the ladies love it.

 

I once bought a brand new Ford and had to do much more work on that than I ever did with my old Toyota or Nissan.

I would rather buy American-made, where I can. However, we just don't do vehicles as well as other countries.

 

The best vehicle I've ever owned is a toss-up between the 2001 Nissan that I currently owned, or the Toyota Corolla that I once owned. Both of them rarely need work, rarely break down and have been well-maintained. Nissan and Toyota rock!

 

I have never owned a great car . I'd have to say my 2000 Toyota Corolla is the best car I ever owned so I am still waiting to own my dream car.

 

I had a chrysler neon a few years back. And it was not the best of cars, but it was a pretty decent vehicle and i think that the greatest thing about the car for me was that it was a pretty simple car, that got the job done and hardly gave me any trouble. I loved it and i thought it was an amazing machine. I only let go of it because i was moving countries.
