Does anybody besides me miss the old stock car races including the figure 8's and destruction derbies?

I love NASCAR but I do miss the old 9-5 workers who would spend every minute and dollar they could afford fixing an old car and on Saturday nights towing it to an old oval track and running the hell out of it!

The figure 8's were a madhouse of madmen seeing who had the most guts and of course the destruction derbies when the objective was to stick you car in reverse and run around like a crazed tank!

Being British, I do miss the old days of F1. That said, I don't miss the casualties that were such a regular feature of racing back then.
