I love eating outside at least twice a week, it feels like a mini holiday when friday and saturday finally arrive, because during those two days I don't have to cook at all :D I've been cooking since I was 16... so yeah, this routine has gotten really old for me! I look forward to the weekend always because of this mostly, because I work the whole week, so weekends are not such a great thing for me :hungover: Plus is nice to eat something new during the weekend!

How often do you guys and gals like to eat outside home?

I only eat outside when I'm invited out by family and friends or when the urge hits me when I'm at the mall. But most of the time, I just opt to have food delivered at home.

I don't eat outside very often because I like to prepare my own food with ingredients I picked. I eat maybe 1 or 2 times a month outside and even than I go to a decent restaurant were I know they have healthy foods prepared by a good chef.

As often as I can afford, hehe. I usually go for like thrice a month or so, although it varies; sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends on my moods and such, if I'm hungry or not and etcetera. I usually stop by Mac Dee's or KFC, whichever is closer to me.

It like I almost always eat outside..am on a tight schedule and getting those additional minutes to cook seems a great challenge to me..i prefer it lol. After work I always pass-by the nearby hotel and have my supper as well as in the morning since.. This seems to work well for me since I don't late for work or any other budgeted chore but it has always be an enemy for my account since it seems like 20% of my salary is spend on food..i hate it though.

Eating outside is wonderful when the weather permits. And when the flies aren't everywhere...

My family and I eat out once a week. We like to prepare are our food usually with the grill. We will grill four to five times a week depending on what's going on with our schedules.

Nice! My family used to grill some years ago, but now we haven't done it for years! Grilling is a great way to spend some quality time with the family, specially if you've a big family. I might do that in the future with my own family :) so I can create a nice tradition involving my kids

I love cooking so I do not usually eat so much outside, although when being invited I would ofcourse go for it. And yeah, when I am in the mood to get authentic cuisines, then I will go to restaurants which can serve my appetite :)

I'm much like you Sheryl, so I rarely go dining out, but I'm trying to give myself a chance to go do it at least once a week and the reason is simple.

When you have not been that much out there, there are tons of new restaurants with different cuisines that might be worth to discover new culinary pleasures.

Wow, you cook everyday too? Don't you ever feel kinda bored of doing that? This routine is starting to get kinda old for me lately, the hardest part is coming up with tasty recipes every week. I've developed a really bad appetite, so I really need to think twice before cooking something. Plus there are some foods that I can no longer eat without feeling totally disgusted!

If it were up to me, I would eat out on a daily basis. I love to cook, but i hate washing up and that to me is a really big deal. I can never cook and leave the kitchen in a clean state. So eating out is a nice and easy solution for me.

It depends on what I am eating outside.

If it is a fine dine with my wife, maybe once a month. If it is junk fillip with my family maybe once every week. If it is just about grabbing anything that I could lay my hands on then it is almost every day, since I travel a lot.

Same here, I like cooking... but sometimes I feel kinda tired of it, plus I REALLY hate doing the dishes!!!! Specially the containers I use to prepare the food with, lol, and then they expect me to do their dishes as well... just great!

So, eat out? Or eat outside?
We eat out rarely. It's expensive with 6 of us. Every Tuesday my daughter and I get subs when we go dancing.
And outside, almost every day when the weather permits. We enjoy eating on the back deck. Grilling!! Love it!!

Eat out and outside is basically the same thing for me, since both imply I'll not be the one cooking (in my case) :D I just need any excuse so I don't have to cook, at least not for a while ;)

There are many nights I wish I didn't have to cook! Sadly, the kids want to eat every day. :)

This morning I put chicken breasts and Italian seasoning in the crock pot. It already smells very yummy!

I eat out once in a while during special occasion like birthdays and anniversaries. Otherwise I prefer eating at home. Nothing compares to homemade food in my opinion.
