I personally love cats because they are so cute and don't really ned much maintence. Some people say they are snoody, but I think they are just highly intelligent. So are you a cat or a dog person?

I'm definitely a cat person. I like them better than dogs, because they can look after themselves and they're quite tidy, like they bury their own crap, as compared to dogs. They also consume less food too, and are much cuter than dogs in my opinion.

I'm glad you get to enjoy the gift of cats even though you don't have any :)

I am a dog person. I love them. I had a German Shepherd when I was growing up and loved her everyday. She was a great first dog to have because German Shepherds are very loyal and will protect you. She passed away over ten years ago and I still miss her :(. My brother got a pug but it's not the same. He's lazy and could care less what happens to me even though he's gotten really close to me.

Aw I'm sorry about that, she sounded like a great dog. I hate when pets pass away :,( It always seems like they just got there. And when you have such a close bond with them... I've never even had a dog before, but I was really close to my old cat Neeko who ran away. So I feel you on that.

She died young which is why it sucked. She didn't live a full life. I was only like 6 or 7 when she died so I can't recall why. I know my parents probably remember how she died but I'm content not knowing. I'll probably get another German Shepherd several years from now when I can afford taking care of a dog.

I didn't know that Pugs are lazy dogs. I saw one at the petshop and it seemed friendly. If the dog is lazy and behaved like a cat, then it appeals to me, since I don't like active dogs because I'm not a very active person myself.

I have to say both, I think I love all animals. I have only ever owned dog's though. I think dog's are more friendly overall, but I really like cats too. Cat's seem to be happy roaming around on there own though and don't respond to humans petting them as well as dog's do.

I like cats. I have a lot of them in my house. They are very cute that's why I love to take care of them. I just don't like them sometimes if they will pee inside our house since it's very nasty.

I am a cat person through and through. The kittens are just adorable and fun to play with. Then when cats are all grown up, they have a certain personality that I really appreciate.

This is coming from someone who has never taken care of a cat, but I will definitely do that once I have my own housing. I'm just a little worried about the smell of cats and friends who are allergic.

I'm slightly partial to cats, as I've only ever owned cats. They've all been quite cuddly, and fun to play with.

I am a dog person. I use to like cats until I became allergic to them. Also I have a Scottish Terrier dog named Barkley.
I think he is an awesome dog and smart.

I agree with this. Dogs are definitely friendly most of the time. I just have never had a dog and only cats so that's kind of why I am a cat person haha.

I don't own a pet but I am definitely a cat person. Dogs can be very dramatic for me. I love cats because they are so calm and tender loving. They are easy to care for and instead of expelling their waste all over the place , they are very private about, so clean up is easy.

I'm more of a cat person, mostly because cats are really independent! Dogs need a lot care, they are like small babies! But cats are more independent, they can actually take care of themselves if needed.
