    I'm passing this tips on to my sister, who is always complaining about how hard is keep her car clean, but also not liking to take it the car wash service.

    I don't know about any additional tip, but I really appreciate your advice.

    Thanks :)

    Nice that you appreciate the thread, however I want to correct a typographical error there;

    That Tip no. 3, which is written "3. Do not it if possible inside your car" supposed to be like this "3. Do not eat if possible inside your car".

    Sorry, I was as usual so fast. :oops:

    LOL, I kind of thought that this was what you were trying to say. In any event, I would also suggest just setting up a routine for cleaning. Say, once a week handwash and spray wax, and vacuum. Once a month clean the windows and once every six months do a hard hand wax. I think that it's important to set up a clean routine that way you can keep it well maintained. The biggest thing is to clean up accidents as they happen and prevent stuff from happening, like not eating in the car.

    My best tip to keep the insides of your car clean is to reduce the chances for it to get dirty in the first place.

    I always ensure that my passengers have rubbed off their feet before entering the car. Also, I absolutely forbid eating inside car. Even food that seems "clean" like chocolate bars can still leave little crumbs behind.

    I have to clean my car about once a week. We are in the car a lot, and I bring a lot of kids around. They have a lot of gear and it gets left in the van sometimes. I'm constantly cleaning out jackets, bottles, cups, toys, etc. It's crazy! I'm too lazy often to bring it in the first time.

    I agree that if you put your car in a routine with your other chores it will not seem like such a chore if it doesn't get let go too far. There is nothing like a clean car in and out and if you get used to it, you'll appreciate it. If you let your car become a dumping ground of mail and other debris, it will be harder to catch up on and seem so much more tedious.

    Is it terrible that I clean the inside of my car frequently but I can't even remember the last time I've had the outside cleaned. It's not like I don't want to get it done I really never think about it. Now that I've actually brought this up I'm probably going to end up getting it washed before it gets too cold.

    I happen to practice most of the tips mentioned except one. I don't keep a trash can in my car because I always take out all the garbage as soon as I get home. I don't only vacuum my car often but I also wash my mats often. most times people forget to clean the roof of the car so that is one thing I always pay close attention to also.

    My car is usually always cleans since I am the only driver and the only person mainly in the car. The only things that are not clean is usually the car mats, because of foot traffic and I may have to vacuum the trunk of my SUV. It never takes me long to clean my car. I usually wash the rubber mats, vacuum the floor, and put spray some fragrance in the car. I think it is good tip to put a trashcan in the car, cause I use my door console as a trashcan, but not for food.
