Most of the people who get in my car don't slam it too badly. I like people to shut it decently hard so it closes and I don't have to lean over to fix it. I haven't had anyone shake the car when closing it on the way out though. Now not locking my doors, that's a different story...

I think if it annoys you when passengers close your car’s door really hard what you need to do it to tell them in a way that is subtle, calm, jovial and pleasant that is in a nice way. I can remember when I was going to high school, my brother’s friend occasionally drives me to school and I would slam the door when I come out but, I did not know that I was doing this. My brother’s friend told my brother to tell me not to slam the door and from that day whenever I take someone’s car I am now conscious of whether I am slamming the door or not.

You're a better person than me. I had a friend who did this and it bothered me a lot. I told her after the first few times to not slam my car door so hard because I don't want any problems to where the door probably won't shut in the future. She dismissed my concern and I told her again not to do that because I don't want any damage to my car. It's funny because when we were driving in her car, she NEVER slammed her own car door and yet she felt comfortable disrespecting me.

Yeah, it's pretty damn annoying when people just slam the door shut, trying to make themselves look like a badass. What if I just suddenly drove at 70mph around the roads? I'd like to see your damn face when I'm trying to act like a badass.
