Starting this year, I've decided to carpool to work. Me and three of my buddies work for the same company so we have decided that we will each drive for a week. I never realised my company has parking space for carpoolers, now I don't have to fight for parking anymore, yay! What do you think of carpooling guys?

I think that it's a beneficial way to save up on gas, effort, money, and it reduces traffic and pollution. So I'm very much in favor of carpooling.

I think it is great for people who have the same shift. Driving truck I get off when I'm done so it makes it hard. The few times I had to drive someoen or they drove me I have to wait for them or they are waiting for me. It can mean waiting around for an hour or more at times. Couldn't do it every day.

I've heard that carpoolers get a dedicated lane on highways, is that true because here we don't have such a thing or we could really save a lot of time getting to work everyday. We made a rule that the driver must drive everyone home. Those that have plans will have to find their own way home no waiting for them.

I really wish more people would carpool. We have had dedicated lanes on the roads and freeways as well as the entrance ramps for years. It does help the environment and when I have used them they move along even while the rest is grid locked. I realize it may be difficult depending where you work and how many coworkers live wihin a radius that makes sense to car pool, but if you can, you will love it.

I think it's a great idea! If I had a physical job to get to and knew other co workers who needed to do the same, then I'd surely offer my car! I'd sit in theirs a couple of times a week. This is a great way to go green and help our enviroment. I hope this trend becomes more and more popular in the future.

It's great that there are dedicated lanes in your country. Unfortunately, we don't have those here, would've been great if we do as more people will have the initiative to carpool and the jams wouldn't be so horrendous.

Carpooling is a great way to save some money and wear & Tear of your vehicle as well. They have a carpooling lane in the Seattle areas that people who do carpool use. Once in awhile people do get caught using mannequin or blow up doll in their passenger seat while driving in the carpooling lane.

I was cracking up when I heard of people putting blow up dolls and mannequins in their cars so they could use the carpooling lanes.

I would do it, only if the people I was carpooling with lived near me and we were all on the same schedule. I would imagine it could become a pain in the butt if one of you wants to go out with your coworkers after work, and the rest of the people you are carpooling need to go home. I guess you would need to do some more planning in advance to avoid situations like that, or just agree to be more understanding up front if any one of you have unexpected situations like that which may inconvenience the other folks you're carpooling with.

If I understand what you guys are saying about carpooling, then I think it is better as it saves cost. It is more cost effective to carpool.

I think it is great that even your company has thought of offering parking for carpooling. It is a good way to save on gas, plus you can even get to your destination faster because you can travel in the designated lane on the high way.
