Do you think love at first sight exists? I have heard people say love at first sight does not exist because it takes a lot of hard work to build a relationship, which cultivates love. Some people reported they had to wait for chemistry to develop in a romantic relationship. The chemistry is supposed to somehow contribute to romantic love. What about familial relationships? Do pregnant women love their unborn child the second they find out they are pregnant?

Yes I do believe in it. It happened to me the moment I laid eyes on my wife. Didn't get a chance to talk to her that day. Took me about a year and a half to find her again.

Thank you for sharing! That's is a very sweet and romantic story. I cannot believe you somehow managed to find your wife again after a year and a half. What are the chances of that happening? Cool story!

It was odd. Turns out that I was talking to her on the phone for months before finding her. I was friends with her friend and talked to her on the phone, and gave her advice on other guys. Went to the fair with her friend and her friend happened to take her. As soon as I looked at her I knew she was the one I was looking for. She remembered me as well.

No I don't believe. People fall in and out of love very easily these days. Plus, I think most alleged cases of love at first sight, are instead lust at first sight. Where she's hot or you think she's hot. And she thinks the same. And then you guys have your fun a few times before it gets boring and you both move on.

Not really. People fall in love nowadays very quickly, but it's not actual love, it's just a physical attraction. Personally, I haven't fallen in love at first sight, I usually just get to know the girl before falling in love, but you never know.

No I don't, at least not in "love" at first sight, but you can find a girl you like at first sight, there's no doubt.
Still, people these days don't really seem to distinguish love from physical attraction, so I guess most believe in "Attraction at first sight"

Most people equate hormones with love. That's why when the relationships end, they're in shock. And don't know how to cope. Because they assume that it was true love. But it really wasn't. It was lust and hormones.

It can happen, believe it or not. I fell in love with my wife almost 23 years ago. We started dating about 21 years ago.

I have been physically attracted to many women at first site. I have liked many at first site as well. I do know the difference. Not everyone will experience it.

Thank you all for sharing your opinions. I think love at first sight can happen. For example, let's say you are watching someone does something that you also enjoy. Right away, you already know a lot about the other person. It is a plus if you are attracted to the person physically. Some people instantly get on with another person, while some people hate each other at first sight. LOL

I don't believe in love at 1st sight, but I do believe in "attraction at 1st sight" as well. It has happened to me many times already, but I can't say that I already love the person, since I don't even know them. But it really gives you a pleasant "high" the moment you see that person for the 1st time, so no wonder most people misinterpret it for love.

It happens to guys more often since girls are more good looking than guys. Very rare to hear about women falling in love at first sight. But for men? Sure. Of course it's not love, just lust but you get the idea.

Well that's a hard question, but for me no. I think you fall in love when you think you found the right person and not right away when you see someone.

I believe in sexual attraction at first sight. Love at first sight seems too much to handle. It's a lot of pressure and over-thinking involved over each human being on this earth.

That's a really good question to ask. I believe people can mix love at first sight with lust at first sight. I can say from experience that if you don't know the difference between the two traits of love and lust you better learn. If you don't it can get you in a whole light of trouble.

No, I don't believe in the love at first sight. I think it's mostly physical attraction. I need think you need to get to know the person first before you fall in love with a them.

People are assuming that you get to choose who you love. If it were only that easy. And yes you can grow to love someone over time but that is another story.

As far as love at first sight goes, does anyone have kids? Is it possible to love them at first sight? What about a pet?

Honestly, it's hard to find anyone who actually is a true impression of 'Love at First Sight' ideals. Many (especially the younger generations) think it's love, when in reality it's just another relationship based around attention that eventually gets boring and ends. I personally do still believe there are some instances where it's real. I know when I first saw my fiancé' in my sophomore year of high school it was just the greatest moment of my life. I was just so sure that he was the one for me and 4 years later I was right, and currently in the market to set our upcoming wedding. I don't have any children, but most of the individuals I know that do just love their kids to death and tell me that the first time they saw them it was just quite the magical experience. As for pets? Well, us women... if its cute, soft, and furry we'll love it at first sight no matter what. I guess it just kind of depends on what kind of 'Love' you would be wanting to interpret here.

I heard many people saying about love at first sight. But that never happened for me. I don't think love at first sight happens, atleast for me. There may have lust or infactuation but no love.
