Are you the type that likes collecting stuff? As for me, I used to collect teen magazines when I was a teen and looking back, I wonder why I was so keen on buying them, lol. I guess that's just how a teenager thinks. I also used to collect casette tapes, cd's, and dvd's. Now I'm keen on collecting cellphones/smartphones, if only I had the budget for it. So how about you, what do you collect?

I used to collect tarot card decks, I also liked to collect spaniard decks. It was a really interesting, but kinda expensive hobby :p So I had to stop because my priorities changed. I loved to be a teen... no worries at all! Don't you wish you could go back? Lucky teenagers...! Now the only thing I collect is dust on my furniture :hilarious:

I used to collect baseball cards and action figures. I'm actually in the process of going through my old collections and selling things as we speak.

Not really but there are some things that I wanted to start collecting. I would like to start collecting stuffed animals, even though that sounds kind of lame haha but I really would like to.

The only things I collect are CDs and records. I really like finding a good deal on an album I want to buy. There's something about the aesthetic of a record with a great design that appeals to me. That being said, I don't buy music because it looks good, I buy it because I like the music. If it looks good, that's a plus. Also, getting stuff like test presses, and rare items is cool. Like this test press of a record I got a little while back.

Oh so you're also into tarot huh? As for me, I just bought my 1st tarot deck just this month, after just using those online tarot websites for 2 years, lol. Tarot is quite misleading though, especially if you're reading for yourself! I also wish I could go back to my teenage years because life was so much simpler back then. But the only downside to it is that you were still quite gullible and immature.

Wow, really??? What Tarot deck did you buy?? I personally love the Rider white tarot, some people say this deck is ugly, but I think this tarot deck is the right one for me. Because the images are so intuitive... I don't feel comfortable at all with the tarot deck I bought, it's the ''Revelations'' one :wtf: It's so hard to learn and memorize the meaning of the tarot cards with a deck like this one. :speechless::thumbsdown:

The bookstore in the mall carried only 1 brand of tarot cards, just google "Tarot" by Sasha Fenton, that's what I bought. I would love to have the Rider-Waite as my 1st deck, but I guess I'll just buy it in bookdepository.com, they offer free worldwide shipping. I think the RW deck is the easiest to interpret, I agree with you. If you want to check out other tarot decks, go to this tarot site, mydivination.com, there are lots of interesting decks there.

Thanks a lot for sharing that web site! Lately I'm been shopping online, and free shipping worlwide sounds like the most amazing thing ever :D Have you heard about ''la baraja española''. It's a deck that is also used in divination, it has all the minor arcana minus the queen cards. I wanted to buy thisd one, but most decks had 40 cards, and that kind of deck is for games only :( I was looking for the deck with 48 cards... I liked the ''baraja romantica'' version. Here are some pictures:

This deck is one of the most beautiful ones you will find out there, because most spaniard barajas look practically the same, but this one is really beautiful!

By the way, I googled the tarot you told me, it looks really beautiful :) I might start collecting decks soon (again), as soon as I move to the Netherlands I might! Do you like using your deck for divination or just to meditate? Is it easy for you to use? Mine isn't... I've to look at every card very carefully :p This slows down the reading so much :/

Yeah unfortunately I left a lot of my good ones at an old friends back in the day and those disappeared. I was a big Jose Canseco fan so I haves cases of his cards that are worthless lol.

That's a very nice and exotic looking deck! I haven't heard of it yet until now, maybe bookdepository or barnesandnoble has it? How many decks do you own now? I don't meditate, since I fall asleep when I close my eyes, hehe. I use tarot for divination or to ask about a specific situation, how about you? I just google the additional info of the card to get my answer, I haven't tried to interpret it yet until it happens to me, like the tower usually appears when I'm annoyed, or the page of swords when I'm digging for info/researching.

Hahaha, look at us! We are the perfect example of two pisces girls... talking about tarot decks ;) I use mine for divination only, so far most of the readings have been kinda accurate I think, it's been a while I don't do it tho. I lost a lot motivation whjen I got sick two years ago, so much I stopped studiyng the tarot... I still have a lot books tho, but my problem has always been the interpretation of reversed tarot cards... do you interpret those too or you rather ignore them? The book I have covers that topic kinda well, the author left out a lot meanings claiming that with time and practice I'd discover the rest. Right!

I have 10 decks :) But I always use my first deck for my readings... mostly because I bought it for that and I prepared it. Have you checked the Deviant Moon Tarot???? I'd like to get it for my collection in the future ;) Not good for readings (I prefer the marseilles tarot or the Rider Waite one for that), but the illustrations on this deck are really beauitiful. A bit creepy, but beautiful... kinda dark :whistling: A very peculiar beauty.

I used to collect toy cars and coins. The toys were more for fun, but I realize that I have few models which are no more available in the market, from that perspective I could be millionaire some day... :) ... Wishful thinking I know.

But yeah I do have some Indian coins which are out of circulation now. Good collection, I guess.

I used to collect baseball cards and Yu-Gi-Oh cards when I was a teen. I still have them and I'm thinking about selling them on eBay. I know the cards are worth a lot of money.

I've collected comic books on various occasions. Now, however, I seem to be collecting old vitamin/supplement bottles that I've used.

Yeah, I know right? Pisceans are fond of esoteric stuff, so I found a kindred soul in you, lol. Well in online readings, I use reversed cards, but in offline readings I don't think I will at 1st. My mind isn't clear nowadays, so I haven't tried using tarot yet in person. I think reversals will confuse the beginner. How about you? I haven't heard yet of the Deviant Moon tarot, but I will google it. Do you store your decks in a safe and dark place, like what they say it should be?

Yeah, actually reverse cards really scare me. I was trying to do a personal reading the other day, but I saw some really scary things over there. I don't let that to get in my head tho, but so far my readings have been QUITE accurate. Sometimes I think I should stop doing this :p My mom got a bit scared after the last reading :nailbiting: Most reversals are bad news, excepting for the very positive cards, but if a card that is usually a bad one is upside down... that's awful news!:hungover:

I store my deck in a safe and dark place :) I have prepared it as well, and no one else has ever touched it. I also avoid mixing the cards the usual way a player would mix a normal deck. It took me a while to magnetize them with my ''energy'' like they say, so I don't want that to fade away
