Over the years I have came to drink less and less alcohol. It is never really something I have ever found that appealing. When I was young, around 16 I used to be more fond of alcohol but overall I just think it is a stimulant that is way too over used in today's culture and nowadays I rarely drink alcohol. I usually drink a couple of times a month or less. How about you?

For me, I enjoy drinking alcohol and I like the taste of beer (not Natty or Busch Light). I wouldn't say I drink excessively, but I am 21 and I will have a beer or two over a couple days. I think it's sometimes fun as well to drink a bit with friends too. I'm a fan of 'only in moderation' which is how I approach drinking.

I've never had a drink in my entire life. I haven't been actively avoiding it; I'm just not the sort that hangs out where people usually drink. If I did, it'd more than likely always be here in the comfort of my own home, but in that case I've got other things I already enjoy enough that I don't even consider it. I'm not entirely averse to it, though.

I started drinking alcohol at 19 and now I am 22. I don't drink alcohol all the time. I only drink it about once a year on special holidays with friends and family. I think that I am going to stop drinking because I know that alcohol is really bad for my health.

I don't drink at all. I have had a drink here and there years ago. I took my fathers drinks (many of them) without him know it was me and without me knowing what it was I was doing. I don't have any desire to drink at all.

I never really liked the taste of alcohol, so I'm thankful because my liver is gonna remain healthy until the day that I die, lol. I really wonder why a lot of people like to drink something that tastes so bad.

I drink alcohol but I only limit myself to it. I occasionally drink alcohol. I only drink if someone ask me too but sometimes I can avoid that temptation. Honestly, I really don't like to drink but I drink just for socialization purposes since most of my friends loves to drink. I just pay them respect so I drink alcohol but not to the extent that I am going to be drunk. I hate that feeling.

I just turned 21, so yes, yes I do drink. I usually drink 3-4 times a week, sometimes less. I don't usually drink more than 1 or 2 glasses at a time.

I do indulge in a bit of alcohol. In my youth I drank more then than I do now. Now I have a drink once in awhile instead of every day like I did in my youth. At my age the recovery from over drinking is far too long and I HATE hangovers.

I never tasted Alcohol. I am 22 now and there are so many temptations around me to start drinking alcohol. More over the restriction of religion, I restricted myself from drinking Alcohol.

Come on al, tell us about the Mini-Marathon you had here in the courtyard a few years back!

I have been drinking on and off most of my life and will admit at times I had too much. I decided to stop about 1 1/2 months ago. I have found that my belly is reducing and my wallet is starting to get fat!

I have really tried to drink less alcohol but I find it a bit difficult. Not because I am that much addicted to it but because of my life style. I go to parties at least three days every week. During these parties, alcohol is usually the main brew that almost everyone else takes. This forces me to drink a lot of alcohol during these parties. I think I need to stop going to all these parties for a short while so that I can reduce my alcohol intake by at least a half before I can quite drinking alcohol completely.

The other thing is that no one ever tells me to reduce the amount of alcohol that I take each week. This makes me feel like I can take as much alcohol as I want without even thinking twice about it which makes me to drink even more.

I can go to a party or go downtown and not have a drop. I'm normally the only one in the group that isn't drinking. One night there was 12 of us or so. There was two of us that didn't drink. We were able to drive home. Well he wasn't because his car was stolen but that is another story.

I'm always the DD for someone.

I drink socially rarely or from time to time. But I never drink seriously. I am just not wired to get wasted everytime life throws me a problem or a curve ball.

I do take alcohol but not to often and sometimes frequently as it really depends on my mood and my environment at any certain time. If I'm to drink most time by myself I learn to take it only after meals and at weekends excluding sundays.

I have gotten used to alcohol as a stimulant and a confided whenevr am down-hearted.

I enjoy unwinding with a Gin & Tonic (with a twist of lime). I don't drink beer hardly at all any more and never was a big wine fan.

I don't really drink much at all anymore. If i'm in the mood to get intoxicated, Weed is usually my go to Drug. The only times I'll ever drink is at family get togethers or large social gatherings like weddings.

I'm the exact opposite, I've been on a bender for about the past 4 years. I've been trying to stay more focused on work though. I don't think family and friends realize that antagonizing you when you are trying to lay off of drinking only makes things 100x worse. There are days where I am in a reasonably good mood minding my own business planning on working on some projects, and there are some people in my life right now that will just go out of their way to push my buttons and start crap with me.

I used to be a really heavy drinker when I was a teen, but I had to stop quite recently. I can no longer stand high amounts of alchohol in my body, things are not the same since my gallbladder was removed :sorry: I noticed a lot changes, specially how bad I feel after I drink... my stomach feels like it's burning. Last time I drank I felt like I was having the hangover that very same day! I felt terrible a couple of hours after I drank some tequila... NEVER AGAIN :dead:
