I know a lot of people in America would easily choose Football or "soccer" in other countries. I prefer Soccer. Which one do you guys like more?

I'm a football fan. I will watch a bit of soccer every now and then. That is on sport that I will watch a bit of during the Olympics.

Football, NFL or CFL. (assuming that by football this is not a reference to rugby).

I prefer football over futbol. Just what I grew up with, and we didn't have soccer teams or leagues in our area when I was younger. Seem like a great way to stay in shape though, with all the running.

I come from a latin american country... so of course I'd pick soccer over football anytime! I really don't get football at all, it looks kinda complex to me :D I like soccer a lot tho, and I get it perfectly, but the main reason of that could be that I've been watching this sport with my dad since I was a little girl! I specially love watching world cup matches and the like! My favorite team is barça!

Here in my country, soccer is more popular than football, so naturally I'd go for soccer, especially now that we have a national team that wins in international competitions.

My brother prefer boxing and I was more into soccer. I played in school for 4 years and loved my team. We won most of our games and kicked or local rival town's house.

I grew up with two sports and that is boxing and soccer. Growing up in a Mexican household that is all we watched or participated in sports wise. In the 80s I like to say that for both sports is was a very exciting time.

In my family we're huge football and basketball fans. I was never interested in watching soccer and I live in America.

I would have to go with football. It is my favorite sport to watch. The intensity of the competition is something special. I have been a football fan since i was 7 and it was one of the first sports i got into in terms of watching on television and playing it.

I am in Portugal, so we don't have American Football here, our national sport is what you call soccer, I have grown with it and still love to watch it.

I am from America so it might be bias, but I love and think Football is the best. Many people dont see the skill and strategy that goes into the game. It is far from guys hitting eachother.

I know this game pretty well and I am still learning every week watching the great game.

Americans don't rate soccer highly because there are hardly any great soccer players. If they had some or even one they'd be some people who'll be interested in the game.

For me, soccer is far much better than Football (the American version that is).

I like soccer more than football. Football doesn't seem to require as much skill as soccer does and soccer is just more fun to watch in my opinion.

I like to play soccer more, but I like watching football more. Football just seems more exciting and suspenseful to watch than soccer, but when I'm playing football, to be honest, it's kind of boring. Soccer takes a lot of concentration and if I mess one little thing up I've screwed everyone else playing.

From the USA...I personally do not like football as it is sort of a crash and smash game. Watching soccer seems to show more athletic ability of the players rather than just bulk. Just my opinion and I am probably in the minority here, but that is my first reaction.

I said football, because I LOVE it!
But I live in a small town, and we don't have a football team. Our soccer team is well known. My son is on th emodified team. I'm sure I'll grow to love it!

I play soccer, so definitely soccer. I like the style of the games, the team work, techniques and skills. Although here in Europa, soccer as we all know is called football. So at first I was kind a confuse of the question. LOL:cat:
